Worf can go in place of crusher, especially in G4 when the lower deck slots are limited. Picard worf Chen/tlaan

Harrison is a good spare if your Chen/T’laan are busy, provided your target has less hull health than what you can deal within the first round

Specific crew, for specific hostiles I use: 1. Yuki, Harrison, Charvenik (against battleships) - stacking health 2. Yuki, Harrison, Marcus (against explorers) - stacking defense 3. Yuki, Harrison, Kang (against Interceptors) - stacking attack All 3 officers (Marcus, Char, Kang) should be at least 800% to be effective... Hope this helps someone.

Thank Rev , i did say this before tho . Tng arch should of came with an officer that reduces hostiles and armada damage . Maybe 20% , with full synergy of Picard and paired with Beverly , it would of been awesome

Over all the crews you talked about chen and t'laan are the key with the exception of the borg crew

Some additions: - Another to use with the Pike or Picard crews is Harrison. If you can kill a hostile with the first shot (with the shield bypass) it can be a fantastic crew. For example for me against lvl39 explorers in Wolf it works just as well as a Chen crew. - If you don't have Pike/Picard but you do have Moreau/Bev, you can also use Bones instead for a smallar but still usable ability bonus. How well it works depends on your stats and the hostile you're fighting. - Bev can work great on lower levels too, depends on the hostile you're fighting and to your ability to stack defence. - The 7of10 crew(s) work great only if you have the time to grind in borg space for hours on end.

To elaborate on the first point, PMT on my maxed Sally kills a lvl39 in Wolf in 1 shot for 4300 damage received itself. With PMC it takes 5 urns for a total of 5100 damage received. Of course, RNJesus would change those numbers around a bit, but I don't really feel like going into the error statistics of that on my free evening XD

for the right situation I have found that PHC is superior to PMC H being Harrison if you have him H = Rank 1 M = Rank 3 C = Rank 4 I am 35 right now and have been grinding on hostile 39's for my dailies for many many levels (triple locked for a while also, and this technique worked to help me get that triple lock) Using my Sali (interceptor) against Battleships (triangle happy) I can get to 1 shot of the 38, 39 and sometimes 40 battleships (NOT the vetrans) With this 1 shot kill, survivability is longer for the grind

I been grinding to lock my last/3rd faction and been using two ships and I’ve been using 6 of 10, 5 of 10 & Georgiou on 36 traders on my Auger and it works well

Is what you said correct for heavy traders in capital systems (tlaan instead of chen)? I was wondering why the heavies do so much more damage than the non-heavies with PMC, when their stats are identical. Edit: having tested with PMC vs regular traders and PMT vs heavies, they still deal 6 * as much damage. Meaning with my auger that can defeat normals in 2 rounds losing < 3rd health, dies having scratched the paint on a heavy. Seems a waste of trit to run the same test with my jelly, lol.

For the borg don't forget 4 gives full sync with 5 and 7 too

We honestly need more officers to combat mission hostiles like Tasha Yar kinda does. Its so frustrating doing a mission of killing 20 level 48 hostiles with PMC/T only to have the boss totally wipe you out with 3/4ths of your health left. I have been using my maxed Enterprise with Kirk and whatever 2 officers combat what I'm fighting....interceptors, use Rare Uhura and Kang, battleships, use Char and Azbuter and explorers, Marcus and Yuki. I really hope in Phase 2 of the officer rework we get that.

Addition: it takes a while to level Chen and T'laan to max right at the beginning of the Game OPS 1 to OPS 15 - you might want to stick to - Cpt. Cadet Uhura + Cadet McCoy + Cadet Kirk - Cpt. TNG La Forge + TNG Crusher + TNG Data this Combo gets you -21% (up tp -22,4%) Damage reduction (both Kinetic and Energy)

With Cath now available at -12% damage from kinetic weapons, should next gen Beverly potentially be replaced when doing red PVE ? Your thoughts? With a La Forge, Beverly and Chen / T’Laan crew

Not sure if Scopely cares or not but it might be worth though if they introduce a group of hostile grinding officers that reduces damage from specific types of ships (ex. -20% damage from hostile battleships) if they outpaced Chen and tlann at higher levels for damage reduction

I find that 579 is better than 578 for the lvl 29 probes (7 as Capt in both scenarios). 7’s Capt Ability is the key factor because if it triggers and your vidar is big enough, you’ll take out the probe before it can get a shot off - you take no damage. The extra synergy 9 gives over 8 makes the Capt ability trigger 90% of time which is most critical. Most or all of the other levels of probes get a shot off before you do so this is only for 29s.

Which is best crew for the heavy in capitals? What is the secret deep space crew? Which crew can handle level 41+ battleship hostiles.

Explorer auto grind crew for cow or hostile events good against level 20 to 32 fighters or bounty hunters TOS Bones TOS Kirk Kelvin UC Sulu (Sulu maxed) .. destroys hostiles sometimes even before they hit you.. not sure about initiative bonus there as that is never talk about..then you also have tlaan and chen available for active hunting.. TOS bones needs the hostile attacking you whether it fighter or bounty hunter to work best

I like using Harrison with pike/moraeu on my Saladin. Kills non veteran 39's very well.

Hey rev so I'm glorified with fed and I'm trying to double dip fed rep to reach champion using 2 hostile crews. I have a maxed pike max moreau max chen max tlann Picard is tier 2 and Beverly is tier 2. Should I use pike moreau tlann on Kelvin and hit klingon heavy traders in Kronos and then use Picard bev chen on enterprise to grind tygo or should I swap pm to ent and pb to kelvin.

What should I stack below decks? My Moreau is T3 so just attack to take down hostiles quicker?

What level/ tier should you take pike to?

Exchange transports in rouge space supposedly use both weapon types so what crew there?

For probes, 5 of 10, Chen and tlaan give me 290k nanos and is quick

Thanks for grinding tips! I am lvl 34 f2p and have most of the officers you mentioned, but I currently don’t have Picard (only 77/180 shards). Didn’t do well in the leaderboards when he was introduced. Is there any way to source him now, and if not, will there be any way in the near future to get him?

A hint is something you give us in plane sight when you try to sneak it in that's an Easter egg

to kill heavy trader in Sol,Kronos,Romulus on ship about 3m power, use Beverly, Mudd and tlan, for those that want to kill but far from it, this is only crew that will make it happen, the logic behind it, ship lose shield and gets immidiate boost form mudd to your damage, and it stacks, beverly regenerate enough shield to sustain most damage, every time shield goes down, mudd boosting power, enterprise can do 6m shots thanks to this crew, and tlan obviously as those heavy traders use kinetic. PS, results are inconsistant as you might get those nasty critical shots from the heavy trader

I tried the one with LaForge and Crusher, but found that LaForge and Troi works better for me with Chen or Tlaaan.

What if you have 8 & 9 for the vidar but don't have any of the others one yet?

I acutally use: Kang (T5) Captain, Beverly (T4) and Jaylah (T1) for high-level Swarms.

Fat Mudd, Bev, and Roe tier 3+ gives me more lvl33 Borg probes....what about 5, 7, Kang for 37+ lvl swarms?

A 2nd to none crew for swarm over pmt would be jayla, Kang, epic bev

I know the STFC website Says that red battleships are Energy weapons, However I have 2 reasons not to believe that. 1st, if you watch a battle against a red battleship, there is Not an energy beam, there are 3 red dots like Kinetic weapons. 2nd, I’ve tried Several times using the same ship killing same reds in same system using Both Chen then T’lann. Every time I kill slightly more reds using T’lann. Just FYI, try it and see if I’m right. Clear your inbox try Chen until you die, then clear inbox Again and try T’lann. See who kills more

Small correction for the Borg officers against Level 29 probes...shouldn't it be 789, or 759? You said 758, but that version doesn't give full synergy to Seven.

Go to the capitol systems (Sol/Romulans/Kronos) There are regular transports and heavies.

No other STFC creator can do what Rev can do! No wonder he stands out above the rest!!!

Great info, but i just made level 14. But I realize i will be a 14 for quite some time to fully level up ships. Could use help on that level crew. And why do some others players even level 12 & 13 have nearly twice my hull health on same ship? I have nearly completed every building and just have ship repair speed to complete. I have zero uncommon 3 star ore. I can’t find a way to get that other than buying it from store. Which i rather not do.

You missed an important question. If both chin and tlan are unavaliable, what officer can take their place.

That was his point. None. Right now there's no officers that can do that. They're still bugging scopely to find up with something, but as of now we only have those two

Rev, I've found that 5, Chen, Tlaan works best on a max Vidar in lvl33 systems if 5 is T2 or better. I get 220-230k nanos per trip with this crew loadout.

I thought Cath is equivalent to Tlaan officer description is almost the same 20 percent Tlaan vs kinetics vs 12 percent for Cath

5, Chen, Tlann is best crew for 33 borgs in my testing. Not good against 31 and under borgs though. 7, 8, 9 against weaker borgs. Is Borgs the correct plural for Borg??? 🤣

What tier is your 5? For me it's not even on par with PMT only if I get 4200+ probes only. Get's me like 180k probes on a very good run while a meh run gets me 200k with PMT

I tried 7-(5)- tlan last night. I just was able to get her. It worked well in corta gamma but I was about 20k less probes than with bev-Picard- tlan. I will try your 5 Chen tlan tonight.

My 5 of 10 is only rank 2 with max Chen and max Tlann. My Vidar can pull in ~250k nanoprobes and I don't have the skin. I'm ops 41 with 1.4m power Vidar.

When my 5/10 was tier two I need 35k health below decks to get full load. Now with t3 5/10c Chen tlaan full load every time.

OK..how do you guys kill the bosses to complete a missions when you have low level ships like the Talla. I am level 17 and need to kill a lot of bosses with strength level 55K to 75K. These setup do not work at all!!! I am a F2P...

Use a PVP crew in that case, like Morale Crew or Yuki as captain with Kirk and Spock. I have the most luck with Bones (c), Kirk, Spock.

Why bones as cap? Kirk is not better ? Because he increase officer stats more= more def, DMG etc. Why bones? Shield never go down without bones cap ability, so why not Kirk/Spock/bones?

@@ashleelynn1163 you would put her on an Augur because it's ship ability is dependent upon burning 🔥, and who to pair her with? Anyone who's officer abilities are dependent upon burning would be good. There's quite a few.

why wouldn't you pair 7 of 10 (c), with 5 of 10, and 9 of 10 for FULL synergy? You posted 7 (c), 5, 8.

How about 5 as captain? Got my 7 / 5 (c) / 9 setup to 400% synergy....each!

I used to get a lot more efficiency in the Level 29 probes system with PMT than 758 back about a year ago, and the Vidar was Tier 4 (got roughly 60-65k red probes per run in Roda).

You’ll get more nanoprobes at lower levels (try 27) until you get your vidar up higher. I think it’s tier 7 with the smallest gun upgraded to tier 8 (the one that fires every round) that you can start cleaning up with the lvl 29s.

Hold your horses. PMT is not as good as PMC vs 33s. The l33 probes do an equal amount of energy and kinetic damage, its definetly better to pick chen. Also chen is prefered on every level but 29. Up to lvl 30 7of10 works well as captain, even prefered if you have 5 to support him.

I use tier 3 5 of 10, tlaan and Chen with max health load on lower. Always get full cargo and is quick to do

Why 5/7/8 instead of 5/7/9 (75% double first shot versus 90% double first shot)? Is the 65% attack power really better than 65% defense power, enough to overcome a 1/8ish deficit on the extra first shot?

Question : why Chen is very strong once maxed against energy weapons and T'Lann still weak against kinetic? I speak about power.

Heavy Traders: Whats the secret? Just a bigger ship/get my Jelly and PMC? I'm level 39 104/120 blueprints till Jelly. Or is it something else? I've seen lower levels take them down. I can't seem to.

I did have to lookup the General to be reminded, because he is in like 3-4 disjointed episodes.

I think P/M/T is going to beat the Borg crew against level 29 Borg spheres. Those spheres really only shoot their kinetic weapons, so T'Laan's going to outperform everything by cutting damage by so much. There's also shenanigans of Beverly/comic Mudd/T'Laan against Heavy Traders, but that's another story.

L29 Borg don’t shoot first, so if your Vidar can kill them with your first weapon (7/8/9) there is no need for mitigation.

At tier 7.1 with that 1 being the energy weapon, if you are running Capt 7, 8 and 9 and 7 procs, your Vi'Dar will fire 3 times before the probe does, it is possible to kill it without taking damage. Stack attack on your lower deck to give yourself the best chance of it.

Whales ruined this game. Clowns needing to feel relevant somewhere so they decided to spend their money on a phone game to ruin it for others by being bullies
