Makes me wish back in the day I built the Carl Goldberg chipmunk. I did get the Anniversary Cub though! Good lord, that was close to 35 years ago now maybe?? That;s a gorgeous looking plane!

Would have to be around 35 years as I had one also. Still think that they are one of the best looing planes around.

Whoooohooooo I’ve been waiting for this flight! Beautiful first flight, and boy does she make her presence known! I’m going to address the person rarely mentioned, and it’s to your camera 🎥 man. Whoever it is, does a great job keep the plane in view, zooming in and out when called for. Hats off to the person behind the scenes.

When you said it's like a heavy GB Chipmunk, I recognize the feeling. While our radios don't have force feedback our experience provides a feedback inference and it's almost like there was. You can easily tell the difference between something light on the forces and something with momentum. That part of the initial stages of testing new airplane. While I have a couple of airplanes on which I use rates, most of them I don't. I do use expo, which came with my first Airtronics system in '81.

@@thercbarn5001 I've pretty much retired from 3D flying, but I'll dabble a bit here and there to keep my reflexes fresh. The chipmunk is way to heavy but with more power it would be easy to hover!

@n1114v yeah I never really got into 3d except with the 32inch epp foamy. I just got done resurrecting a morris hobbies knife. It will do some 3d stuff that I'm playing around with. Getting a lot of wing rock in high alpha stuff. I got it to hold a hover for a few seconds today. That was fun.

Never weighed it......all covering and no added nose weight.

All digital, they will talk a little bit....totally normal

if your gonna check temps... do it before you talk.... immediately after cut off
