Knowing that this was filmed while we're in a pandemic, and that every actors had to do their own stunts, makeup and etc makes this more impressive.

Teddy is a stuntman and the only person they brought on that wasn’t in their group of friends and in t he making if this he says the fire on him and his face was practical and thst was the first time he’d ever worked with fire . Said he was actually really worried about it becasue he put the wake on his face so the flame would actually light his face in fire but was worried it’d spread to his hair . The director /writer watched in total horror and was actually against the idea worried he’d get burned for real and the flames are significant but they couldn’t use the extinguisher until enough of the shot was covered . The directors fear is really clear lol

Such a dope flick!

This and Barbarian have been my favorite horror flicks I watched this year.

Really enjoyed the reaction, you should really watch the making of this movie when u get time. It’s on KZread , the entire cast are actually best friends for real except for Teddy, he is a stuntman that they brought in to help direct stunts. Amazing thing about this is it was actually filmed during actual lockdown and they were all actually in their real homes and kicked down so the stuntman walked each of them through how to set up the stunts and a makeup artist did video calls to help them get the blood and makeup right . Another thing I loved is the director pet them come up with their own stunts and movie magic and they had to keep it all to themselves and he did that so that it would actually supprise and scare the other cast for real . No one knew what or when the others were doing their stunts. They also all individually filmed their their own stuff with iPhones and iPads and then they did the scary scenes at night becasue almost all of them were alone and he wanted them to get spooked in reality so it’s show. All the girls are actual actors but are all actual best friends. The director and creator is a friend of theirs and the entire idea came up when he decided to prank them while they were on an actual zoom call so he had someone in the attic that kept thumping so he acted confused and a little spooked and got a ladder climbed up with his phone and had some sort of terrifying scare where he fell off the ladder landing on a mat but made sure they wouldn’t see and when he landed he didn’t move or make any sound, acted dead as his phone layed still looking straight up at the open attic. He played it out for about 10 minutes and said they were all panicking after about 30 seconds when one said she was calling an ambulance in tears and he picked the phone up laughing. Apparently it truly terrified each of them SO much that he uploaded it to KZread and got a ton of views and had the idea to make a movie about it during lockdown and did it internationally becasue he knew no new movies would be comming out during lockdown but Shudder Originals co reacted him and offered to fund a movie like the prank . They ended up doing g the entire movie for next ti nothing and it was #1 on Shudders list for like 8 weeks becasue it’s amazing but also everyone relates. We were all in lockdown when it came out and you could download the shudder app and see this lockdown filmed movie bbased on the viral prank. The making of it shows how they did the stunts and shows the girls rigging their own stuff . Then they sent a ton of footage to an editor thst put it all together and then a Special effects guy to do a couple things with removing rig lines etc and actually emailed the final copy to Shudder. Awesome thing is it did so amazingly well with nothing but amazing reviews thst Sony Pictures has come tasted them to do another movie so their all getting known. The pigtail girl Emma (oh and they used their real names in the movie for realness ) Emma has been appearing on a bunch of movie reaction channels and doing interviews etc. I’ll add she’s freaking hot as hell in her normal life , every reaction she does she looks like a supermodel. Lol I loved also thst they are all HUGE Horror fans so this was a labor of love.

Nice I'll check it out, I actually know someone who works with one of the writers of the movie, so he told me a lot of this information after I watched it but I purposely went in there with not much knowledge to get a fresh take. Thanks for checking out the reaction!

Was both an amazing night and an annoying one for that reason. If I was the landlord of that flat that's the first thing I'd have mentioned to people lol!

You were looking at the camera when the professional disconnected and you missed a really weird wseries of lights go flying behind her and it cuts out . Not sure if you noticed also but when each person is nearing death a tiny green orb shows up somewhere in their shot , I missed it the first time but saw a video about the movie where they point it out. It’s SO subtle but does appear shortly before each girl is killed . It jsut floats off in the corner of the screen . Really clever

Can someone tell me what the girl is pointing at at 11:12 ? I've never been able to see anything there no matter how many times I watch the movie

I didn't see anything either, I think in that one shot there isn't anything there but the actress is supposed to be seeing something we can't.
