Thank you for the good word. This so helped me understand and stand firm as a parent, of adults, that they too will realize this and find their way back. For my rebuke and DISAPROVAL AND DISAPPOINTMENT is out of love. God help her find her way back. Thank you Pastor Paul. For the perfect timing of the good word

"You cry but not to Me. You come but to Me. You return but not Upward." I have never gone through Hosea like this in all my walk with the Lord. So deeply thankful for getting understanding and the correct application of God's Word but also hearing what needs to be heard. Those words struck deep. God bless you, Ps. Paul!

Thank you so much! I am in a Bible study currently studying Hosea.I struggled at first with understanding what God was trying to say. I've looked up a couple of sites and commentaries. They were helpful but you brought Hosea 4-7 all together to get the bigger picture. Our lesson covered these chaps over 2 lessons. You made it a cohesive lesson. Thanks for your personal teaching style . It's like you are having a conversation with your audience not just lecturing. I also am thankful for your verse by verse teaching, your insights, comments and applications. Very easy to listen to and understand. Speaking with God's words not yours.God bless you and thank you for your ministry

Proverbs 3: 11 My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loved, as a father the son in whom he delights. ( Undoubtedly True & Beautifully Worded, from the inspired, infused man of God Hosea & I also am very greatful knowing that the LORD will not share His glory with the devil that tries to be Him & oversteps his authority, in order to trample The Lord's Truth & His servants. I have never been one with doubt of The Lord & sternly believe He has this whole world in His hands, all the while the god of the world, the false light bearer satan, masquerading as if he is The Light ( 1 John 5 ) blinded the minds of the many - 2 Corinthians 4 ) but he can never be God, no matter how much he tries to exalt himself above God. Deuteronomy 32: 36-43 36 For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. 37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, 38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection. 39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. 40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever. 41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. 42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. 43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people. 36 For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. In Proverbs 9, we too learn that instruction and knowledge is preserved by the priest, and to be kept, maintained in order that The Lord's will can be done. Proverbs 9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. 7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. 8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. 9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Though the false prophets of Samaria have led His people astray ( Jeremiah 23 ) The Lord has given us 2,000 yrs to hopefully see that the grave yards are plenty full & the sin of the amorites has reached its near fullness, to now be measured ( Genesis 15, Revelation 11 ). Hopefully the obstinance of the leadership at high will be of less resistance & they will receive the gospel to save their souls. Thank You for your teachings. They have done wonders for me. God Bless ❤❤❤

Thank you for the studies on the bible. Right now, I'm on the book of hosea, love how you interpret the word of God. Only God can give you insight on how to study his word. Pastor I know of many who worship Mary and put her on a pedestal. Is that also another form of idolatry. The word of God declares all the glory and praises is to him only. So why do many worship Mary?

Are we destroyed for lack of knowledge or is it because we reject the knowledge that we already have been given therefore what we know to be of truth is taken away or dimmed? Someone please help me understand! I say that because there's no lack in or with God and He is all knowledge so how can there be a lack of knowledge again is it lack or rejection of??

Well this is the old testament b4 the Holy Spirit. Think of it this way: when we sin we ignore the Holy Spirit. Once you sin you become more vulnerable to that sin. If you like that sin (like these people did cheating on God) then eventually you forget what you knew was right. What's started on as you ignoring the truth so you could sin in peace is now truly forgotten until you truly repent and seek God(God is knowledge). If you sin bc you like it then you are walking away from God the light and truth . So how can you see what's right and the truth when you're in the dark now?

Verse 6 helps explain: “Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” It’s important to note the structure of the verse: “rejected knowledge” is parallel to “forgotten the law.” This fits the context of the opening verse of the chapter, which states that Israel failed to acknowledge the Lord as their God (Hosea 4:1). The people did not simply lack knowledge; they actively rejected it. Because Israel had “rejected” knowledge (God’s Law), God would “reject” them. Because Israel had “forgotten” God’s Law, He would “forget” their children (He would remove His future blessing from the nation). As a result of God “rejecting” and “forgetting” Israel, they would be destroyed. Hosea’s message is in line with Moses’ warning to the nation that God would remove His blessing from a disobedient people (Deuteronomy 28). Hosea 4:1-2 emphasize that Israel’s lack of knowledge was not mere ignorance, but active sin against God: “There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.” The people were only ignorant of the Law because they actively ignored it.
