Hosea 1-14 - The Bible from 30,000 Feet - Skip Heitzig - Flight HOS01

Hosea prophesied to the northern kingdom of Israel during the reign of King Jeroboam II, and he had a clear message to deliver: Israel had rejected God, so they would be sent into exile and become wanderers in other nations. On this flight, we see a clear parallel between Hosea's adulterous wife-whom God had instructed Hosea to marry-and Israel's unfaithfulness. But even as Hosea endured a rocky marriage, he continued to share God's plan that He would bring His people back to Himself.
This teaching is from our series The Bible from 30,000 Feet - 2018 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

Never knew the importance of biblical knowledge until I found Calvary church. Now not only do I listen to Skip’s teachings online. But I sought out a local church that has strong Bible study program. (Even in the Bible Belt these are hard to find now days.)

Just a side note, I used walking reins with all three of my children. A lesson tragically learned through the loss of a friends child who slipped her mother's had for only a second and was killed instantly by a lorry. I know it looks weird, but it really prevents tragedgy. X

Just a little correction: he mentioned King Edward VIII, but I think he meant King George V. Here is the news clipping in the New York Times from that day (January 22, 1930) "Harold Vivian, chief control operator of the Columbia Broadcasting Company, formed part of the circuit which enabled the radio audiences of fifty-nine stations in the United States and Canada to hear the speech of King George V. Yesterday morning at the opening of the Naval Conference in London."
