In our quest for seeking out a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle, we made a plan that includes zero waste living, tiny home living and full-time travel. We considered buying an RV, looked at trailers and airstreams but settled on doing a bus conversion for our off the grid, tiny house on wheels. We bought a 1996 MCI 102 D3 coach bus and with the Bus Demolition and Interior Shell complete, we turned it into our Tiny Home on Wheels and are now traveling!
Watch Season 2: Bus Demolition series here - • Bus Demolition - Rehab...
Watch Season 3: Bus Build series here - • The Bus Build - Rehabi...
Watch Season 4: Interior Build series here - • Bus Conversion TIME LA...
In its previous life, our MCI bus was used as a school bus, although we don't think we can legitimately call it a skoolie. We are confident that converting our bus into a class a motor home will have challenges, but doing a massive overhaul and remodel on a motorhome / RV remodel didn’t seem to align with the off grid bus life we were aiming for.

Such a pleasure to see you enjoying life on the bus after such a mammoth effort, no one can honestly doubt your abilities when it comes to your build, probably what many don't realize is the sheer skill set required after all you become a designer, project manager, builder, cabinet maker, plumber, electrician, painter, mechanic, decorator & so much more so ask yourself who else do you know who can do all of those things? not many, while there may be some experts in each field who see you doing something they would do differently overall most couldn't do what you have done. Safe Travels look forward to seeing more.

That is always fun to stop at campsights with great views. My son lives south of you in Monument. You are inspiiring me to get my 37' Class A remodel done so my wife and I can do the same. Here are some other "Must See Places", you will want to put on your list. Just west of Red River New Mexico on the south side of the road outside of town a few miles is a campsight that is next to the river that runs through Rde River. Not the RV Campgrounds, but on the same side of the road. And Red River NM is always a nice place to go for the Festivals and Dinner Restaurants. Also when you go through Missouri be sure and stop at the Campsights next to Merrimac Caves. It was where Jesse James and the Younger Borthers (the Outlaws) used to hole up to hide from the Law. There is a nice river running around the campground the campsight that is great for canoeing / kayaking. And the caves are interesting to tour. And when you pass though the Abeline TX area look for the Robert E Lee Park at Lake Coleman. Be away the deer are everywhere there.... A very peaceful lake with no powered boating on it. Kinda like where you are now. We have a lot more of those Milllion $ View Campsights you'll love.

Been following you for some time now and am happy for you 🥹! To all those couch and keyboard warrior ninjas….. if we all were perfect, we wouldn’t have gotten thrown out of paradise, haven’t we? So if you don’t do something, you can’t say you did it… so be happy and if you so feel inclined to say something, follow my or many moms teachings…. “If you haven’t anything good to say…. Say nothing and remain silent”! Else extend your hand and offer help! I’ve travelled the US on motorcycle and truck and when there’s one thing I fell in love with (apart from my wife of 22 years) than it’s backroad America! Keep traveling and thank you for the privilege to join you for the travels!

Regarding the paddle board, could you go from standing on shore and stepping directly onto the board??? My knees are shot and no way could I kneel on the board. Also the board doesn't look like an inflatable. What is the surface of the board made of??? How do you plan on storing it?? Is it bendable or do you have to store it in an extended position???
