Horse Treats | All Natural Healthy Recipes 😋
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Are you looking for a healthy horse treat recipe? I know they can be hard to find and most horse treat recipes are made with molasses or other types of sugar. I felt the same way and after some trial and error, discovered three healthy horse treat recipes that are all-natural and simple to make.
The horse treats I walk you through in this video are Date Delight, Toasted Apple Cinnamon, & Carrot Crunch. I am blessed with access to several different horses and I confidently say that they all love these!!! I hope your horses do as well.
Here is a link to a Free document with all of the ingredients & instruction needed to make these: docs.google.com/document/d/1C...
Which treat is my horse's favorite? Stay tuned for my next video where I will be having fun with Legend, Harley, & Meg and you'll get to see which one they like best 😊
Disclaimer: I am not sure what the shelf life of these is long term. They should last a really long time, but with that said I recommend giving them to your horse(s) within 1 or 2 weeks after they are baked.

I made these and gave them to my horse and he love you from his favorite was toasted apple cinnamon 🙂❤️🐎😋
Yummy! I am actually looking forward to seeing who likes which. I would be hard pressed to decide on which one to choose
❤ it looks like you havent done a video for a yr. I hope everything is going well with you. I enjoy watching the way you work with horses.
For anyone who doesn’t have oat flour you can make it by just blending oats in a Food processor or a smoothie blender

Update ? ^^🙄🤍
Thank you so much for the amazing recipe! My son takes horse riding lessons and he wanted to give treats to the horses at the Palace. Unfortunately, he is only allowed to give one treat to the horse he is riding on that day and we ended up with a whole bucket of horse treats 🙃… I’ve tasted them as well and they’re so delicious … we will eat them as a snack… who can say they aren’t for human consumption?!
WOW!!! This video is so helpful! I am sure that the horses will like the recipe 🐎.
Good idea! Will definitely try them😊
ooh amazing recipes will definitely try them. You explain everything so well and do it nice and slowly you should have a cooking show too!
Oh this is brilliant ! I will have to try all three recipes for sure ! And make a few more "date delight" ... for myself 😅

Hi😊 I used Old fashion rolled oats. I’m not sure how the steel cut oats will come out, but you can experiment with them :)

I just grated a apple. Or you can just add water.
Do any, or all three recipes need to be refrigerated after baking? Can all three recipes for horse cookies be left in the barn not refrigerated? Thanks!

Hi😊 Having a horse that is happy and willing to move forward is a important skill to develop. Here are a couple of videos that may help👉kzread.info/dash/bejne/fol7j8mzh8WqZ8Y.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/fK2G2KhtktGqhco.html
I made this but in the process I stupidly added crushed peppermint without tasting it (for a human tasted good) idk for a horse never gave them that batch
Does it have to be oat flour?
@JSHorsemanship
2 жыл бұрын
I recommend oat flour because most horses enjoy oat related treats, but feel free to experiment with other types (almond flour is another good one you could use)
