Yeah, you have to train your horse to do that, and it's not easy especially if they're green (not broke). Some horses have to be sedated to get their hooves done because it would be too dangerous for them to be awake during that

My Dad did this for those beautiful Yaqara horses way back in the mid 60s in Fiji. I definitely remember those tools. Rest in peace Dad 😢

Yeap dogs do love to eat the hoof flakes. From what I have been told the only bad side effect is that you need a gas mask. I am not sure if this effects all dogs the same way
