This is just a routine trim. The sound you heard in the beginning was from a cow and the footage in the beginning was from a cadaver hoof. Those are used in when you learn hoof trimming + the video is made of several different horse trimmings.

No. God intended these animals to travel hundreds of miles per day thus trimming their own hooves through wear and tear alone. Humans keeping gods creations captive in small enclosures are why thr hooves need to be treated and cut this way. More like devils work

Копыта им не режут, для них - это как для нас ногти. Если ноготь не состричь на ноге, то есть вероятность того, что ноготь будет врастать в кожу, практически также и у них

Там показано, что копыто снялось. Это другой случай. Им не бывает больно, если правильно прибивают, лишь дискомфорт в начале. А потом подковы спасают эти самые копыта.

We start with a cow in distress ( stolen sound ). Poor cow had totally lost the ?nail? sic. Would be the equivalent of a person losing an entire toe nail, but she walks on it. Ouch! Wonder if she had to be put down? But then we switch to a horse. It too had a severe infection. After the medical "shoe" was removed from the horse shoe, he was cutting out some kind of plaster which must be analogous to the salicylic acid + betadine compress they put on cows. Notice in the next scene the compress had been freshly replaced. Then the infection can clearly be seen in and on the frog as he is cutting around it. ( And yes that triangular piece of the hoof is called a frog. ). The black infection areas can be clearly seen.

Horseshoes are simply meant to block hooves growth! And then you have various kinds for various disciplines such as dressage, showjumping, etc

No it isn't to block hoof growth. They are for the protection of the hoof on hard ground like roads or concrete. Horses hooves wear away on such material and they become foot sore. There is an old, true saying which goes ' no hoof, no horse. Ask a vet.

Подкова защищает копыта. А гвозди забивают туда, где нет нервов, по крайней мере болевых. Если ты попадешь туда, куда не стоит, лошадь сразу даст знать. Как объяснил мне один ветеринар, копыта- это как ногти у людей.

To add, the section of hoof that is nailed into is effectively like the excess nail that doesn't attach to your finger if your nails grow longer, the shoe protects the inside part, which is much softer and more sensitive. Helps elevate them off the ground. That being saod, not all horses should wear shoes - some have tough enough hooves.

The 1st horse is not the same horse as the horse that u trim!! Why do yall do that? & why play that crying cow sound? This was a STANDARD hoof trimming.. stop trying to trick ppl! 🤡

Wild horses usually wear down their hooves naturally on various terrain such as mud, on loose gravel and rocks while traveling an average of 3plus kilometers daily.

Nicely put together video. The shock factor at the beginning to get the attention. I first though it was hoof separation, but then remembered hooves split in layers up the hoof, not across, and that was just silicone padding to protect the hoof from previous injury. Looks like the hoof has healed nicely. Top job.
