Huge respect to the soldier. Even if he gets wet he's doing his job and it is clear that he loves the horse and the horse trusts him.

Awwwww........my heart's melted, it truly has. I don't think onlookers realise how fortunate they are to be seeing this, & yes of course the horses need to have their water & a good cooling off. I mean much more than this 🙂 The soldier did a thoroughly good job & he was very patient, gentle & kind. Bless him. This darling 🐎, well..........too beautiful for words..... My sincere respect, honour & love to all the Kings Guards & horses x💛x Horse Guards

Pity there are no fans with gentle water spray in the horse boxs thay would help not only cool horses n trooper would cool the air with n the box to help

Poor baby’s when it gets above a certain temp the horses should be brought inside. As for the smile… it’s a nice thought but the horse was just Fleming, or getting a better whiff of whatever he/she smelled in the bucket. Quite possibly the horse that had its head in the bucket before he/she got it.

There is a heat humidity monitor in the corner of the tiltyard that they keep an eye on .

Horses dhould not be pit on display in super hot weather The change over should be much sooner then every hour.The guards as well

They have one hour out there ..they are the most pampered and cared for horses around

waw that most be ferry interest to see a horse drinking water for those people that take pictures or filming it
