The timing couldn't be better. The Game Theorists (MatPat's channel) put out a 4 part video series covering everything from the start to finish in a narrative story format. In the upcoming week or two, all those 4 part video will be combined into one long video to be consumed in one sitting. The theory videos themselves are kinda difficult. Of course all of them are really interesting to watch. The day I discovered them, I binged the whole series instead of sleeping at night. But FNAF lore constantly changes or new clues come up that debunks the older theories etc, so most of the older videos are outdated as of right now. And the newer ones wouldn't make sense without watching the older ones to grasp the foundations. So the latest 4 part video series is your best bet at getting all the information you need.

I know Mark’s reaction and shocked expression to the bite of 87/83 is mostly used as a meme now. But, it makes sense. As it’d be horrifying and Mark had become pretty invested in the gruesome horror story that Scott created. But, it’s still horrifying to think of, imagine you’re at a local gun pizzeria, and you witness a kid’s cranium get severely broken from a once moved animatronic? I’d be pretty scary. The contrast would be greatly unsettling. On that note, it’d be great if Mark actually made a cameo in the upcoming movie.

28:10 Unfortunately, a lot of stuff in the Security Breach trailers and teasers was dropped because they had to scrap a lot of stuff due to scope creep. They kept adding stuff to the game and eventually it was much more than they could handle, so they scooped out a bunch of things, including character models, entire areas, and even chunks of the story, which they had to hastily patch around.

Just like everyone has been stating in the comments, MatPat’s four part series of the Ultimate Timeline is the most up to date and creates a narrative throughout the timeline of Fnaf that’s enjoyable. Of course just like any theory it’s not perfect but right now for the Fnaf franchise it’s the best timeline spanning over the Fnaf games at this point and creates a great story that connects all the games more cleanly. There is also citations in each video that display that the info came from a book, past video, or other sources of Fnaf.

And the five nights at freddy's indie games (in the FNAF games itself) was actually made to basically belittle the events and make people comfortabe with the fazbear name again and not think much of the murders so people will go to the new location once built.

William Afton was an inventor / ideas guy, and Henry Emily was the guy who built the animatronics. Both began working together to co-own and create Fredbear’s Family Diner. Whilst making Fredbear’s, Henry taught William the basics of building animatronic characters. Together, they came up with the idea of springlock animatronic suits; they were suits which could push their animatronics endo skeletons (insides) to the side to allow a person to fit in the costume. This could allow the animatronics to perform as normal, but also move around offstage and greet the guests visiting the establishment. The only problem with these suits were that the springlocks (locks which were screwed in to push the animatronic endos to the side) came loose easily. They needed to be tightened regularly and were affected by moisture (in your breath or otherwise) If they came loose whilst a person was inside, that person would be crushed by the animatronic parts and would be killed slowly and very painfully. William had two sons and a daughter: Michael (the eldest son), Crying Child / CC (the youngest son), and Elizabeth. It was CC’s birthday that day, and he’d been petrified all week (he was scared of the animatronics) and all week, his brother Michael had been tormenting him. He’d been locking CC in the parts and service room at Fredbear’s, jumping out at him with a foxy mask (Foxy being one of the characters at Fredbear’s) etc. At this time, Elizabeth was gone due to an accident at another one of William and Henry’s establishment called Circus Baby’s Pizza World. On the day of CC’s birthday, Michael wanted to torment his brother more than ever, and the day was perfect for it. The family was at the Diner, celebrating the special day, when Michael, in his Foxy mask, and his friends in other characters masks, approached CC. They surrounded him and picked him up by his arms -all the while CC screamed and cried in fear- and they lifted him over to the animatronic performer Fredbear. CC was hoisted up by Michael and his friends to (quote) “Give Fredbear a big kiss.” CC’s head was forced into Fredbear’s mouth. The moisture from CC’s tears loosened Fredbear’s springlocks, causing a failure. Fredbear’s jaws clamped shut, and CC died instantly due to the force and pressure on his skull. The Diner closed and both William and Michael were grief stricken. They went home, and now, both Elizabeth and CC were dead, both accidentally, both caused by animatronics. Michael was punished for killing his brother. This event leads to the events of Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, where William uses technology called sound illusion disks to scare Michael with vivid hallucinations of Fredbear and other animatronics in a nightmarish form

You should watch the hyper droid fnaf timeline. The game theory one is very speculative and is built on mostly theories.

As someone who watched Game Theory for the past 13 years, I had a very confused moment when you said you didn't know who MatPat was lol. But I do recommend checking some of his vids out. He tries to analyze a lot of things in video games (among other things on his alt channels) to see how stuff would work in a real world setting (and theories of course. Lots of theories lol)
