As someone who worked customer service at call centers for 5+ years, just reading the words "Where you're a customer service" was enough to make me scream and panic unironically. If I was never able to leave, I'd find the quickest way to die painlessly. Until it turns out I can't leave via death either...

@@bonecag3 Yeah, if people generally had that option, customer service as we know it absolutely would not exist. Basically nobody has "low-paid whipping post" on their life aspirations list, but the fact that you can't even imagine being in a situation where that's going to be the much less terrible alternative to what will happen to you if you don't do it - well, you're very lucky and I hope you appreciate your situation and the support you have. I've had to take far more soul-destroying jobs than just customer service, and whilst I'm very grateful that it's been many years since I've been forced to take a crappy job of any kind, I don't kid myself that customer service will never again be the least-worst option I have, haha.

Honestly the real horror is the customer service aspect and somehow I'd prefer dealing with these demons over actual people.

@@alameachan I've been doing fine, well... about as fine as a demon using his free time on the internet can be, I swear i thought demons were supposed to corrupt the mortal plane, but they seem to be doing a good enough job themselves, hell, they might even corrupt us! I've been on here for what is the equivalent of about three hours to a demon, and I think I'm already a goddamned furry.

So wait, the game is implying that the player is the demon since the character is feeling like someone is controlling him. And the demon is bad because he wants to curse kids, but the angel is also bad because he wants to kill us as a form of punishment. There is no win win here hum... Joey freaked up really bad this time.

Interesting note: Its quite likely the angel in this game is based off of a Cherub. They are multi headed and are part human, ox, lion, and bird. This is the same type of angel said to have guarded the entrance to the Garden of Eden.

If more people knew how angels were actually described in the Bible, the idea of heaven could be a little different. All the talk about people being shocked and afraid when angels contacted them; well no wonder, they look like literal demons. Okay, I'm gonna say it: God is SUS.

I already suffer dealing with rude customers through the phone... Thank God I don't have to deal with them face to face or I'd cry

I liked my job at a call center, for the most part. My worst call was when a lady kept me on the phone for an hour and a half while she very slowly chose items from the catalogue.. and then when she was finally done and I asked for her payment info, said, "oh I have to pay now? All at once? Well never mind then" and hung up.

There was never an escape. Working for the man was suppose to get you start up money with which to go off and build up your own business and life off of. Unfortunately once you started working for the man, they closed the loop behind you.

Former call center employee here, I'd say this is fairly accurate, except we had to deal with an ophanim instead.

Were you one of my employees? I’m a former supervisor for a few call centers and I also agree with you and the others here. Surprisingly accurate..

It should speak volumes of our culture where hell has gone from fire and brimstone, to customer service jobs, and office workers. That's not a joke. That's something that's truly terrifying.

Good ol' Master Handy, brought us such great titles like Pocket Pool, Jerkin Gerkin, One Eyed Blaster, and Choke N Stroke.

"Let Asbeel Call His Dad," was the creepiest writing on the wall I've seen in any indie game ever.

Love how Asbeel talks like a dude bro "He played us! We're screwed, man" 💀. Also someone should *totally* make a horror game where biblical angels are the enemy (the ringed ones or the animal-esque ones with many eyes on their multiple wings). And we're evil. Ik this game is that, but I wanted to see them portrayed accurately. Imagine them singing the same chant over & over, sounding like the Winter Lanterns in Bloodborne. Or when they talk, sounds of thunder, trumpets or flooding water would be heard, or they'd sound like a multitude. Biblical angels have so much potential to make you crap your pants.

funfact: Asbell was an angel of the grigori (watchers) was one of the first to tempt and convince them to fornicate with humans and fall

As someone who used to work in customer service, the title alone is scary 😖😫

The horrors of customer service, how brutal. Possession is one thing, but a harsh work environment is much worse. This was fun, I especially the disturbing angel design.

Things these letsplays have taught me: Never go fishing. Don’t walk home alone. Avoid working. Having a yandere girlfriend isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

I work in a call center service for a large school district and can agree…This is a fairly accurate game.

finally people will know what its like to work 2nd-3rd shift at walmart. Always had skinwalkers coming in at those times that needed help.

As someone who did work in customer services i can confirm this is accurate, our building had various companies working in it from telemarketers to service reps (my job) now the room had a fish eye camera on the ceiling that viewed the room top down. My Dept manager was a bit of a prankster and knowing this i put foward a prank for his approval.....we rearanged the desks so it would look like a pentagram on the security feed.....took them a week to notice what we had done, this then gave wasy to a spate of similar such events from other departments culminating in someone summoning the devil in the cafeteria during the night shift and screensavers being changed to animated glowing Pentagrams........good times

I've been down here in the manly trash bin for 2 years, no regrets, I've watched every single upload religiously. If I miss some, i take an afternoon to binge the ones i missed, i am true beautiful garbage, but the trashcan I'm in is for his fans. Manly's personal trashcan is still empty, like his soul.

I've worked and still do for customer service. More of backgrounds compliance stuff, but I've also worked night shift clerical. I've had instances where lights flickered oddly out of nowhere and I just turned around and decided peeing at the bathroom there wasn't the best and went the long way to another bathroom.

As someone who has worked in several call centers, can confirm this games' accuracy.

Manly really did just upload an office horror video while I'm at work...in an office.

…yes…this whole thing…just…yes…customers can be a nightmare to deal with. Luckily I’m fairly patient person…but this is what it feels like tell someone “you don’t put your mouse literally on the screen to get the computer to do what you want it to”

As someone who works in customer service, especially since it’s as a motors and pump technician, this game is a much better experience. Customer support is literal hell, especially when the person you’re trying to help has no clue what they want and expect you to know.

The voice actor for this game is cryaotic one of my other favorite KZreadrs though he hasn't posted in the last year or so 😭😭 I'm so happy you play this

The voice acting reminds me of Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes. Such weird inflections. Starts from a high tone to a low tone.

I just left a call center job after just over a year. This very much feels like the burnout and how the abuse makes you feel. Definitely accurate horror that still haunt me in my sleep. A bit embellished, but it's haunting working a call center. That female voice was a lot like my supervisor. I give it a solid 1000/10 for accuracy.

...I'm working in customer service **and** I can't quit then go home? Yikes. That really is horrifying.
