As the current situation in Ukraine makes it impossible for the Horowitz Competition to take place in Kyiv, the World Federation of International Music Competitions will support and assist the Horowitz Competition to hold its 2023 edition in Geneva, Switzerland.

    It's so rare to congratulate the piano tuner technician after a concert or a competition (see 3h 17mn). So congratulation Mr François-Jérome Vincent!!! The Steinway was perfectly tuned with a perfect regulated action.

    Interesting concept: a piano competition bearing the name Horowitz, given that he was 'absolutely against it' (competitions), because they are based on Exclusion rather than inclusion.
