Hornby TT 120 V2, 60810, and A2 Tudor Minstrel
The V2 is now finished although she needs a tender coupling. She is finished as 60810 as I photographed the real one in York yards around 1965. Who knows, I may do a black one someday?
The Peppercorn A2 is awaiting her nameplates from Silver Tay models. Also awaiting a riveted tender top to replace the Hornby one used at the moment.
Hopefully one day Hornby will make some 6'2" wheels which I will then replace the 6'8".
Although Hornby do not make these locos yet I have used Hornby A1 chassis's under 3D printed bodies from Lincoln Locos.

Thanks Caroline, I think I have run out of ideas now using the A1 chassis. I will have to wait for the Duchess to appear and already have a couple of ideas in mind, then it will be the turn of the J50.
This video really reminded me how nice the A2 was and the v2 has allways been brilliant. Good work ;D

At the moment I am undecided on the A2 handrails, they look over powering as they are but when varnished it does dull them a bit. Alternatively I can paint them body colour before varnishing. Look out for her stable mate Hornets Beauty sometime. The V2 is nice and although she runs okay I may do a proper pony truck as this one is just the A1 one with the rear wheels removed. I am thinking of another but in BR black.
They look really good, I wish I had the skill, eye sight and dexterity to make these like you do.

Thanks, my eyesight is pretty terrible though. When I have my glasses on I never see a straight line, doors etc are all curved, now even a 150mm rule is curved which makes it difficult to put transfers on straight and parallel.

One DMU is sufficient for now. There are more priorities than any EMU's, sorry. Tudor Minstrel is hopefully getting a stablemate, Hornets Beauty, in the not too distant future. After that it is getting on with finishing other locos and getting on with the high level before a couple of ex LMS designs come my way lol.

It is quite a while since it was a 3-rail Dublo layout, 8 years maybe? It did get taken up and this layout put up but 3mm TT which rapidly grew. In the last 16 months since Hornby introduced their new TT 120 (2.5mm) it is has taken over and the 3mm is being sold off. Considering this layout is in the same place as the Duble but actually smaller it looks so much bigger, even compared to when 3mm ran on it.
