I comepletely agree,i would like to build off that and add that truly watchmakeing is also a beautifull blend of fine precision engineering with artistry. This is something few do this day and age but he is keeping this alive.

Weird to think the man is already dead, and maybe even reincarnated in to a young watchmaker.

All quite fascinating -- but this is NOT horology. It's a decorative technique, the last surviving manual operation in the production of contemporary mechanical wristwatches. All other operations are done without involving any human activity whatsoever. Promotional material for Swiss 'hand made' wrist watches would not look so impressive if they just featured a picture of an automatic lathe or a dial printer - hence the prominence of the 'Guillocheur'!

"the last surviving manual operation in the production of contemporary mechanical wristwatches" You're an idiot...there are still watchmakers out there who do almost everything entirely by hand - engraving, case forming, making the hands etc... Check R W Smith Watches channel
