Everyone: All praise Aloy, Anointed of the Nora! Aloy: No! NO! Stop this! Up! UP! First you shun me, now this?! I will NOT be worshiped! I'm not your "Anointed!" I don't belong to you! What she said got to me. Man. You shun her, shame her, cast her out, and now you want to make her your hero. There have been different reactions from other protagonists from other stories but Aloy's response to them hit home.

got game for free wasn't really into it at the start found the scanning annoying but that beginning birthday scene hit me pretty emotionally. it was done so well considering how oblivious and lonely she must of felt. Also i swear she would blend in well with the kids from never ever land from peter pan.

If sylens sounds familiar than it’s because he voiced by the same guy who voiced Zavala in destiny

Of all the guys Alloy definitely had chemistry with, the game clearly shipped her the most with the sun king. I liked his character design the best, but I wished we'd been able to see him without that hat on his head.

He's a dick for sure but we don't actually know what his goals are or if he's a "bad guy." He might have some information regarding the source of the signal he's withholding from Aloy or he might just be asking HADES leading questions. He knows enough to understand that what's good for the survival of the biosphere is good for him so I doubt he'd take any further actions that would jeopardize it or Aloy's efforts to restore GAIA. If I had to guess, I'd say he probably has two objectives that could put him into conflict with Aloy in the future: 1: He almost certainly wants to find any existing backup copies of the APOLLO or HOMER archives and will probably stop at nothing to get them. 2: He probably wants Ted's Omega access codes and if he's egomaniacal enough, to use them to gain sole control of GAIA's systems once she's been rebuilt. I feel like the worst case scenario would be Sylens using these things to install himself as emperor of the planet, making the stakes of a conflict with him mainly political which are way lower stakes than the survival of life on Earth.

This game is filled with propaganda. What a shame…

THIS is how you do powerful women characters without making people want to puke from woke feminist propaganda being thrown in your face! Alloy is a badass and her character is super witty and charismatic. Great story!
