I'm a little disappointed to see just how many people dislike this boss fight, I honestly thought it was exceptional myself; I 100%'d Zero Dawn, so I've been waiting for this game for a long time, and I'd say it delivered and then some The Specters themselves, when you first face them, are this mysterious new threat which move in uncanny ways, crawl around at crazy speeds, cling to walls and ceiling, and morph their metal plating into crazy shapes and weapons... so to see an exosuit formed from that same technology, with even more uncanny animations? Honestly, I thought it was awesome... and I'm not sure why people think Far Zenith is "unnecessarily evil" when it was literally formed from hundreds of the most rich and powerful people, most of whom we already knew were only interested in self-preservation and life extension - megalomaniacs, plain and simple Corruptors and Deathbringers are also interesting in their own ways, since they were a glimpse into the past, but they honestly have nothing on Specters; people also act like this story is bad somehow, when the reval of Far Zenith and especially Nemesis actually put all the pieces into place, finally completing most of the puzzle and answering most of the questions HZD left behind The concept of Nemesis is fascinating, and certainly a threat worthy of orchestrating HADES' actions in the first game; fair enough if people really don't like it, to each their own, but as someone who was deeply invested in this world and characters... this is an extremely interesting direction and satisfying conclusion to "Act 2" I have loved every moment of this game, and I can't wait to see where the third takes us. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of HEPHAESTUS, his dialogue is always fun, and now he has access to Zenith technology lol

Ikr?! Like people just think that a boss is bad because it's not an incorporeal threat, or bigger than the last final boss. Nobody wants to see the beauty of the music, symbolism, and meaning of why their fighting. I think it's especially amazing that during the fight, you hear the music you heard from the first games menu, while facing the last of the Old Ones. And then your left with the tension of a rapidly approaching threat that makes HADES look like a toddler. But no people hate it cause "uuuuuhhnnnn, it's not big and scaaawwwyyy. Not giant titan that would make me pissed off from losing, worst game ever!"

I really dont understand why anyone would ever support this bossfight. It is extremely undewhelming, boring and easy. The final boss of zero dawn might have been a deathrbringer(which we have fought before) but at least it felt much more intense, fun ans challenging. The final boss of the 2nd game gets EVEN more dissapointing when you think about all the teasing they did for both games that we were gonna be fighting a horus titan. As much as i love forbidden west and its story originally, the final boss and the direction the story took at the end is below average.

@@Jason-..- What are you talking about? The boss in Forbidden West is much harder and diverse in it's attacks and movements than the Deathbringer. I played on story mode, and it still took me at least 10 minutes to beat it. I might be trash, but the fact it took that long shows how hard it is. I know it's your opinion, but I'd much rather fight a unique god human controlled Spector suit that has dozens of different attacks, than a combat robot I fought two times before.

Because the entire game was based on a PS5 colour scheme design and the same goes to the legend of Zelda breath of the wild shieka slate for Nintendo with their Nintendo switch. Horizon forbidden west is the first exclusive game to the PS5 where it showcase the graphical capabilities of the PS5 and yet again breath of the wild was the first Nintendo exclusive to come out on the switch that showcase the full capabilities in graphics of their latest console. Literal both games represented as tech demo with story and full world building where you can explore the demo itself.

Most super fans do, it's a cliche now the first game comes out, and people obsess over it, then the second, and you have to find something to shit on. It literally always happens.

We got Raven Beak in October, Cynthia and Shadow Giratina in November, Volo, Giratina, and Arceus in January, and Tilda in February. These have been glorious days for video game final boss fights.

I mean it's no horrus but I'll definitely take this, better than just taking on another deathbringer

As a completionist, I definitely over prepared for the the final boss with my level 5 legendary weapons and armour. So, I turned up the difficulty, and restarted from the save. A much better boss fight

Honestly, this was the coolest boss fight that I have ever faced in any game. Hopefully Guerrilla will give Nemesis a final form, a hybrid combination of ALL machines.

Tbh I rather have an unique boss than a corrupted leveled up deathbringer because is unique and different in a way. In Horizon 3 probably would be bigger and harder than anything before we have seen on this franchise.

Zero Dawn final boss sucked it was just a repeat, and bigger doesn’t always mean better, a lotta large boss fights suck in games

Only issue with this ending I have is that "random planet around random star where Nemesis can't find us" statement is one of the dumbest things I ever heard. You CAN'T hide in space. Nemesis would always know where they are heading. Only way to deal with it is to stand your ground and fight back.

Damn it, I REALLY wanted to see Aloy to become the first Nora to be in space! Maybe in the future sequel, we get to see Aloy venture out in the great beyond with her new friends in an epic final showdown against Nemesis!

I thought battling with that big thing at the mountains.....hurmm

Tilda is the Main Antagonist of Horizon Forbidden West. She is the former lover of Elisabeth Sobeck and the former friend-turned-archenemy of both Aloy and her sister Beta.

Normal Difficulty with Legendary armor and weapons, (especially the spikes combined with power surge) literally made this fight last 20 seconds for me.... really disappointing that it didn't even have different stages

I notice that when it hits you, you only receive such small damage but when I’m battling her and when she damages me it almost takes out half my health! Is there anything I’m missing from this? I’m asking this because I basically need help lmao I know I know

He is playing on an easier difficulty. Enemies on hard mode have almost 5x the health and damage than story mode.

I played this on Ultra hard. The problem with these games is where they take things away from you amd add arbitrary mechanics to increase difficulty. The fact that she has an attack that literally stops you from healing is stupid. I'm so tired of developers adding stupid shit like this to increase difficulty. Why is it that every eny including the humans can traverse the fucking map in a single movement during an attack. The enemies ability to just close gaps and just jump across the screen ridiculously is asinine. Hard should not equal arbitrary.

While I wasn't a huge fan of the actual fight itself, the presentation of it is beautiful

How? Horizon 1 also ended with a segue to a sequel -- we still had no idea who or what sent the kill code to GAIA/HADES, we had no idea what Sylens was up to, and we didn't even know if there would be a way to reboot GAIA and restore Earth. At the end of HZD, we had just saved one single city that, in the grand scheme, was pretty irrelevant. That being said, there's nothing wrong with this -- the story answered plenty of questions, added an absolute shitload of new lore and world building, and then set us up for a continuation. That's what a good story should do -- unless it was intended to be the finale.

this series is one of the BEST Sony has to offer. So incredibly creative and intriguing.

*So is that thing a Alien, because it looks almost exactly like The Monitor from Anthem.*

The final battle of part 1 is even way better. Aloy's allies rallied with her to beat it. This one just looks like a mini boss you can find in open field.

This boss is disappointing to most Viewers cuz hes playing this on a easier difficulty, shes a HUGE diffrence on Normal or hard. This dude should've been one shotted by the 5th minute.

@@mtlfpv Exactly. Especially not with the games parkour and maneuvering mechanics. In other games, you have fast parkouring and traversing abilities that let you get to weak points fast to fight giant enemies. But HFW, it's too slow.

The final boss in the second game is a perfectly reasonable and good boss fight with great music to boot. But everyone keeps whining like little children and just act like it's the worst fuckin thing to ever be created. Yes I would like to fight a Horus titan. Yes Guerilla games could absolutely make a titan run in the game. But there's teensy, just a little- tiny problem with that. ITS TOO BIG TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE GAMEPLAY. The Horizon series is an rpg series with no free flowing combat or anything besides brute assaulting and good but basic stealth, so the only way to fight it is to just spam bombs with a sunwing. Unless you have any ideas, which I would GLADLY like to hear, then I'll admit defeat.

When I played, the music of the last boss was different... it was just a generic one, the same as the beginning of the video 00:01 I felt disappointed

Just finished this boss. It took me around two minutes to finish it off with Advanced Acid Traps and the Skykiller spikethrower. Too ez for a final boss, at least on normal difficulty

@@B-Meister Normal difficulty should still offer a rather difficult final boss, no? It isn't adventure mode to finish the big boss in a minute. Some machines are arguably way more difficult on normal setting.

@@marikhubunaia3294 Fair enough, but I would still recommend setting it to the highest setting. Then you do have a challenge and it doesn't feel like most games nowadays where you walk into a certain area and it says "Achievement unlocked" for just entering or whatever.

@@sald142 Doesn't really need a grind. The side mission for the spikethrower opens after one of the main missions. So unless you are speedrunning to finish the game, most players are supposed to have the weapon for the final boss.

This is the hardest part of the game

Beat it in like a min, bout 5 shots of skybringer did it so I almost felt like I cheated?? Idk… kinda lame. Most of the big machines I fought were way harder, not to mention the enduring cuz man that bitch had me floored

This bossfight is a total cheap bitch. You can sprint away all you want from those explosions, but they will hit you. I hate these kind of bossfights.

Corrosive blast sling , acid bombs, use a purple sharpshot bow and hit it's weak spots for like 700 damage each time, jus gotta dodge. I did this with like no medicine died 4 times like a loser but finally got it
