I did the same a few years ago. You’re totally right, it’s the perfect road trip soundtrack, especially when your alone and nobody can interrupt your listening.

Thank you for identifying it. I made the mistake of watching that before I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, so I didn't get the references. Only later one did I realize that RahXephon was a tribute to Evangelion that was more straightforward.;

I see a lot of comments about being nostalgic for a place you've never been to before. I don't know if this counts but when I was a kid I always wanted to live in one of those I Spy picture books. They're like the aesthetic before aesthetics. I love your mixes by the way.
