I'm 46 days clean today. Meth was my drug of choice. I had a heart attack last year. Multiple drug overdoses from a whole ass cocktail of various drugs. It's truly a blessing that this song exists. He truly puts all his emotions and grief into this song it's amazing

Im a shy and introverted person. But there was this one girl in a group home I lived in that was literally my twin. We had the same energy, and everywhere i went, she went and vice versa. She was my sister and nobody could tell me otherwise. She was someone who was always there, she was my best friend, my soulmate (as a best friend), and my sister. But she got back into drugs, and she did a 180. She was mean to me and hated everyone, and we grew apart. I remember crying every night to myself because the one person who meant the world to me, my second half, had been replaced by someone else. That was one of the worst heart breaks I endured in my life. And the sad thing is we were in high school still. I still remember her, and sometimes it gets too much. I miss you, my sister 😢

Gives me chills every time. I’m an addict, in recovery now for years and years and it breaks my heart to hear the pain from the other side. Thanks Hop! 😓

He's sending a message to the youth, to the world's Leaders of Tomorrow.. @illdemoteu -- come on, man. i'm not saying that he should/shouldn't be "pussyfooting"; staying quiet doesn't do too much, to be sure. the real decision to quit comes down to the addict. in fact, offering help aside from emotional support/friendship (e.g. paying for their rehabilitation) can be extremely detrimental and enabling.

My brother died yesterday. Except it wasn't meth that killed him. It was the fucking dealers that ran his car off the road, killing him and his friend instantly and injuring five others in the wreck. He wasn't even pushing hard drugs, he sold weed. I'm not saying pot did this, but when he started hanging out with other people (the "drug environment") he was getting into trouble. Now he's dead. Kids, please don't mess around with the wrong crowd. Do pot all you please, but please don't get involved with gangs or other scumbags like drug dealers. Please.

I lost a lot from drugs. I'm 10 years sober this year but my best friend won't even talk to me anymore because of the choices I made in my life. I was diagnosed schizophrenic amongst other things, but, I'm alive, and I thank Jesus for that every day.

This is one of the most underrated sad songs I've heard.

This should be a message to these little 13 yr. olds who think drugs are the shit.

This song just hit me hard. I just lost a good friend to a Fentanyl OD last month. I never thought it would have been him bc he saved me when I relapsed on heroin....he literally saved my life that day he called my parents. I now have 9 years clean. Love you Mike RIP.

I am listening Hopsin and NF everyday. But Hopsin is like my friend and environment 10 years ago - real people, direct and honest. I really enjoy listening to his songs, because I am feeling that I am not alone in this fucked up world.

I would listen to Hopsin with my best friend Shoan all the time. We grew up with single moms so shit was rough. We became so close. Closer than I ever was with my blood brother. I thought of him as my little brother. When we grew up his mother passed away. I could tell he was lost and severely damaged. I tried everything in my power to keep him close to me. Eventually he turned away from me and started smoking crack. He was such a talented rapper and ended up using it because he believed it made him better than before. Sadly he couldn't see that he was literally rotting. Last time I saw him he came over to my apartment and he asked if I would smoke it with him. I got furious with him and gave him the hard talk. He ended up disrespecting me and my belongings, then we got into a heated argument. So I kicked him out and little did I know it would be the last time I got to see my best friend face to face. We didn't speak for a while until I found out he moved back to Zimbabwe, Africa. We started repatching our relationship. I'm grateful for that. After a couple months he had a stroke. He was on life support for over a week. A couple days later he woke up but he couldn't speak.. So it gave us hope. I would send him recordings of me speaking to him. His brother told me his eyes would get so wide when he heard my voice. His brother said his eyes would only get wide when he heard my voice. It's a bitter sweet feeling knowing that. A couple days later he passed away in February 7th 2020. He didn't make it to 21. I think about him every single day. If I could rewind back in time I would have handled things differently. I miss my best friend immensely. Shoan deserved so much more in life than what he received. It makes me angry the way the world took away my homie. R.I.P Shoan Mackamire.

In pretty much this exact situation myself. One of my best mates is a heavy drug user (Weed, Ecstasy, Shrooms, Meth) and has been for a few years now. When he started I told him I was against it and he kept going. I gave him an ultimatum of being friends with me or drugs and he chose drugs. I didn't speak to him properly for a year or two and now the only time I talk to him is when he needs something from me. He used to be so full of life and fun but now I struggle to hold a decent conversation with him that doesn't revolve about him last night getting "Fucked". This song hits home base Hopsin! You are by far my favourite rapper.
