28 minutes of nothing Just pain watching this operator🤦🏻‍♂️ I think they do this slowly to kill the day and go home withouth finish the job I was the owner of that factory and I would have already fired that operator

If the excavator tracks were 90 degrees ,so sideways he would be closer. He would be able to see better and have a bit more reach.

That is not what I would call "long reach."

I'm a quarry excavator operator and I always read these comments on machinery operations and there are more experts then there are machines in the world lol and as the saying goes opinions are like arseholes everyone's got one

I have often wondered why they didn't clean the hopper when it gets built up. Just from my perspective it seems they get more boulders hanging up when the hopper is not "clean". But they could use a "true" long arm excavator. Just an opinion.

I noticed how gleamingly clean the windows are on the Excavator. The operator did not appear particularly intuitive using the Machine, but he’ll improve. Everybody does. That Volvo is a lovely machine to be learning on, if he is?

Instead of bucket touching strait to the hopper wall, you should install a scrapper plate to the bucket with springs between bucket and the scapper plate. This way the hopper wall will not be damaged because the springs will work as buffer .

I think " Hopper cleaned" is saying a bit much😅

Perfect you created a shelf for the new material to get stuck on !! You need a long reach machine and a better operator to remove all the material to the edge of the crusher !!

Would have likely been quicker to get a smooth bucket and mount it backwards so you can push and scoop downwards rather than pulling up and dropping

Would some sort of vibrating wall be better solution turn it on once a day to vibrate all that clean?

i'm no machine operator, but wouldn't a flat blade work better? used to use a "rake" type tool, but with a solid blade, for moving grain around (by hand). was much easier and more efficient than a shovel or similar. worth a try maybe?

A grading bucket on a long reach. Probably not practical.

Wrong machine for the job they should invest in a longreach whit a tiltrotator and a bucket whitout teeths on it then they could remove that dumb hook thingy for clearing rock jams and just get s hammer for the long reach

The company should invest in a camera, so the operator can see where his bucket is, to prevent going too deep. The operator was very smooth on the controls.

I have an excavator. That took a lot of patience from the operator not to break the tiles.

@@TECHNICALINFOMINING especially considering the operator could not see where the bucket was. Have you thought of turning the excavator so the tracks are parallel to the hopper. It will give a little bit more reach. Counterbalance

There may be another reason for allowing the buildup - it stops the boulders and rocks from directly hitting and causing wear on the lining of the actual hopper. So a certain amount of buildup may be tolerable but not to the extent here

You need long arm to reach down to clear it. You guys need to keep. Clean up instead on ignore to build up the dirty and difficulty to run down the dump to crunch hole

This is a stone crusher not a dirt crusher, the loads should be screened before it goes in the crusher, more than half of the load shouldn't be going in there just the stones, waste of time.

Need a longer arm excavator with wide flat bucket so the teeth will not damage the wall tiles

Three days later and he still is not finished with the first side.

You would think since they have to do this all the time they would have an excavator with a taller cab and a true long reach arm with a rubbery blade to push that packed dust down the hopper.

Pretty confident I could fly to where this site is (Pakistan?) drive from the airport to a hotel, find and rent an excavator, have it delivered on site, teach myself how to use it and proceed to clean out the hopper before this guy would finish.

That's not a long stick trackhoe I doubt that operator could operate a long stick Regular stick is more than he can handle. Probably the best operator in the pit

The most incompetent excavator operator I have ever seen

Not sure what you class as fast cleaning, I nearly died of old age watching the “not so long “ excavator drag that job out! 😬

It would be a lot easier if they didn’t have the claws on the end of the bucket.

Not much of an operator, or much of an operation. Trucks are running 3/4 loaded, look around the pit. It's a mess, sloppy site, light loads, must be a shit site to work at, nobody gives a damn.

pero en serio se estan oyendo lo que dicen, caen rocas de mas de 50 toneladas y les preocupa lo que le pueda hacer a la pared de la tolva una rascadita de uno de los dientes. la limpieza es completamente ineficiente ese operario parece que es el primer dia ese tipo de limpieza se deberia de hacer de abajo a arriba pero claro si no estan usando ni la maquina correcta una maquina de brazo extensible o brazo largo. en definitiva el que deberia de abandonar su puesto de trabajo por que la parada de la maquina genero la parada de toda la planta deberia de ser el encargado por no adecuar las herramientas necesarias a los operarios y poder estar usando la otra parte de la tolva para descargar

The title says fast cleaning, there is nothing fast about what this operator is doing. must be first time sat in the seat.

That bucket is not a good tool for that. A large flat plate secured to the arm would do a much better job.

All I can think of watching this is the guy from will it blend going Dont Breathe this.

Put a machine that vibrates it and not only will it keep it clean using "liquifaction", but it will also speed up the process of crushing stone down the "hopper" by "motivating" the smaller rocks/particles.. If you used a bass speaker to produce the vibrations then just like the Egyptians described you will be using sound to move stone...

Just wondering instead of using the excavator if you just take the boom and mount it on a track above the hopper with not sure if correct term. But the claw the use to pick up trees. It's flat so you won't damage the plates as you slide the paydirt off the sides. Pluss added effect if you get a bolder jam you can just grab it with the claw and slide it in to the crusher

there is a crane track or something above this that holds the big question mark looking thing for moving stuck boulders, some sort of flat attachment for that would work better than this

I have to say, I am impressed by how quiet this machine is. Usually all the equipment in this part of the world is clapped out to shit. This one is actually tight. The operator is slow as shit, but the machine is nice.

If you ever see a video on KZread with an excavator in it, you can be assured the comments will be filled with people calling the operator terrible at his job. Looks like he’s doing it just fine to me.

They’re gravity dropping 20 ton boulders out of huge dumpers and they’re “worried about damaging the hopper liner” 😂 This operator is just slow, whack or both!! ⏰ 😴

They are impact proof not ripping. If he catches a tile it will rip out like it's nothing.

Kinda pointless unless they need to work on the sheeting.......otherwise it is just going to build up again Having the dirt there acts as a cushion so the big boulders don't bash against the metal......i would leave the dirt there if it doesn't need to be cleaned

This build up would be prevented if they didn't use the misting spray. Job security i guess

The operator is clearing by feel not sight. He can't see down over the edge, it takes a slow methodical approach to not damage the tile wall. These so called KZread pros would go as fast as they could and smash the shit out of the tiles. Then the same KZread pros would call him a noob and a twat for going too fast..

Shame not to see the work done With 30 minutes of videos I thought I would see the completely clean instalation.

You'd think there would be a vibrator built intot he hopper to prevent build up like that, or at least a specialized attachment instead of a bucket.

They replace wear pads basically when they’re stuffed. Periodic inspections weekly will determine when they’re replaced. No set time frame. They way I’ll sleep a process plant going for as long as possible before a shutdown

There should be large chains hanging down the hopper sides that can be moved side to side once a day to keep that hopper clean. That crane can be used to lift them up no more than 3 links to break the hard pan loose. Also either leave the water on continually to wash the hopper clean or leave it off so as not to make mud. To many people standing around doing nothing, Start getting that machinery cleaned up, or get fired.

OH YEA AND Little RICKY has a small……well we all know…..😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
