Hopper Cam Trash & Recycling (H51)

We're back in our Labrie Automizer(yay!) Just in time for the heaviest day of the week. The Automizer does a better job of packing than the Expert does, Plus it goes a bit faster which is best. A normal Thursday is about 600 stops, this one was 675 and blew out the recycling very quickly. So we ended up emptying the whole truck and coming back out. The video picks up probably the last 2 legs of the route, so everything goes in smooth.

You may notice material sneaking under the divider panel. This was brought to my attention in a previous video and has been reported to our maintenance. Unfortunately it seems as it was a piece of steel that broke when the divider panel broke off a few months ago. I am in the process of getting that ordered and fixed. So please keep your comments to yourself regarding stuff falling through this crack.

Good that your back in your Labrie!
I love the view fron this truck as less things hide the view. I always hope to see fashion magazines/flyers or even clothes being crushed, but it never happen haha I guess people burry well their old clothes :P

Definitely trial and error finding the right mount point
You gotta get your company to invest in those 50/50 splits. So much easier with overloaded recycling and cardboard especially.

they're not going to do that. if anything they'll throw another truck or a rear loader to pickup the crumbs. it works for me that's all that matters

I used the Pete 520 for 2 days last week (see previous videos) and I did not like it. Maybe because i have used mack for a long time.

@@NashobaTrashTrucks I used to drive a 320 which had more room but I still like the 520 better. Just a better all around setup. My only gripes is visibility isn’t quite as good, but not a big deal. However, I hate the stupid door handle. Why it has to curve and stick out is beyond me, but my knee hits it all day long.

I didn't like it because I went from a High Entry to a low entry for 2 days... lol but I know what you're talking about.. I guess it's because i'm so used to mack
