I've been watching your videos for several years. You remind me of . . . well, me. I've got just about 3,000,000 miles as an O/O, and all in just two trucks in 38 years. You could count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've paid a pro mechanic to work on my truck. I suspect you're the same way. Something breaks, I figure out how to un-break it. I'm convinced that attitude, more than anything, is the single most important factor to determine success vs. failure in this business. I see others losing days and days of work while their truck sits in a shop, running up $125/hour fees. I tell people my mechanic works nights and weekends, for free ! It's plain to see you have the same business model. Much respect to you from a fellow trucker in Massachusetts.

Air bags blowing can be exciting! I remember being a nervous, green driver learning 40' frameless end-dump work (there's only two types of those drivers: those that have and those that WILL tip over). On one of my first runs & loaded down VERY heavy with an old, worn-out trailer, I stopped right beside a school bus unloading kids with parents calmly waiting there. All of a sudden, BOOM! Dust flew everywhere and those people jumped 2 feet up off the sidewalk! When I dumped just down the road, I was so shaken & flustered, I had to call in just to have an old hand walk me through the dumping sequence again! Thanks Ezrider359, good story.
