Thank you to the Hopi Nation for sharing these songs, they fill me when I am low and stay in my head all day long, and the way the wind swirls around me when I'm working and these songs play in my head cools me down and lifts my spirit. Thank you for sharing Hopi Nation!!!!!!!

"Shut off your recorders and dont take pictures. Please respect the singers and their songs." In Northern Nevada, I hear this announcement given to all the people, Natives and Non-native. My Family attended the sacred Pinenut prayer and dance, the Bear dances, Flag song ceremony, and Social dances. THis was not Powwow. I'm 71 y.o. now and the rule still stands. I understand both sides of this controversy. Thnx

I would like to say Ha'u'...I should be coming out To Arizona after this lockdown to visit.I am an artist.musician and also psyhchic.i have been drawn to Arizona for a few years but have not gone yet...I need to meet and speak with some Medicine men regarding strong visions to do with arizona..May the creator bless you...peace

Go .Seek your Visions......with respect. I don't know if you are a Native person, or not , but I feel I need to tell you this.....FOLLOW "PROTOCOL" WHEN APPROACHING A "MEDICINE PERSON"...BE IT A MAN... OR A WOMAN...There are both, in the "Medicine World", ...and the men, learn from the women......Women HAVE THE POWER.....so , remember and respect that fact......Offer "to do something" to really, really help the People there, in a meaningful, important way....Get ready to do some really hard, demanding physical work too, if they ask you to work in the fields, like , dig an irrigation ditch, and do their laundry , and cut, chop and stack firewood, and help repair broken fences, and take care of the animals, and run errands to town for them, and help out in cleaning horse poop from stalls, etc...etc..ETC...... JUST DO WHAT THEY ASK YOU....You ask them, first, whatever they need , and you do it....Do not just go to a Medicine Person, and not "offer" anything, also....Take "an offering" with you, when you come to their village, to give to him or her, by giving it to a close relative...whom you must "go through", to get to meet any Medicine Person...... Give your offerings freely, without reservation, out of love and respect....(do not offer to give "money"...which is "an insult")... Just bring something with you, that they REALLY need , like good fresh organic food that you get from a health food store....... fresh or dried fruits and or canned veggies, nuts, seeds, organic coffee, green tea, honey, whole dried grains, like quinoa, and oats, and millet, and blue corn flour, and dried elderberries, etc... etc... and also, fresh or dried buffalo meat.. ...bring a good amount too.... and some nice, warm, heavy wool blankets, too, and, most importantly, MAKE SURE to bring some Sacred Tobacco, too......and, like I said, go to one of their relatives FIRST....DO NOT go directly to them.....as a matter of "respect".....That is the way it is done...Tell them all about exactly "why" you want, or need, to meet with the Medicine Person.... Then, later, when the time is right, and good for them, they can arrange for you to meet with the Medicine Person, if they "choose" to meet with you.....Do NOT rush them....Give them all the time they want , days , or weeks, etc, to decide, if they want to meet with you, or not...Show them your open Heart......Do not "expect" anything from them.....Go to them with an open mind, and open Heart, in a humble and good way...That is how you will get to meet a Medicine Person...and get the answers you seek about your Sacred Visions......
