Came here to say this. I think that's always their plan they bait and switch. It's the only thing I don't like about the game and I seriously think it's intentional.

Quake is so underrated. I use her a ton over a lot of other cards when I want a solid low cost tech card. Discount legion and nobody ever expects her. Absolute staple in any sera deck I play.

That quake play by the opp around 26 minutes was beautiful. Why quake is one of my all time favorite cards. She can be clunky sometimes but she is a 2 cost win condition other times. Such an under appreciated card.

Tried a hope bounce, and begrudgingly a Galactus both are pretty fun and decent but THIS is awesome. Replaced jean w /magik. Nostalgia for hey day of elsa and shuri.

Pretty much exactly the deck I built lmao. Kitty-Shuri-She-Hulk-Task is the perfect shell for Hope. Except I'm not on that Jean Grey copium

Im excited for warmachine to come out alongside this. The playline of goose hope warmachine infinaut (on goose) taskmaster seems wild

Despite this thread's sentiments, I don't think Hope is "way too strong." She can't typically even be activated until turn 4, so you have extra energy going into turns 5 & 6 only. Which of course is where EVERY build's huge pop-off plays happen, so Hope is at exactly the right spot to be competitive with other builds where she is now, without being oppressively OP'ed. I "HOPE" they keep her exactly where she is now. She's feels great without feeling stupidly great.

Oh yeah. Put Jean in this deck. Great call!

I wasn't expecting Jean to make it into a Hope deck but now this deck has the Redhead Quartet (Hope, Jean, Elsa, Angela). What a fiery bunch!

I made an Elsa deck before this came out, it has been doing really well. I have MMM in there and Legion for Pixie/Negative shutdown and location disruption. Hope-fully (get it?) she doesn't catch a nerf. Red Hulk will punish her a lot I think.

I don't have havoc and I need to save for war machine. But just had a thought that Havoc could go good in a hope deck of you'd give that a shot.

I've been running hope in a destroy deck with Daken and Shuri Nimrod. The option to get 2 dakens or arnim zola the 12 nimrod are great

Been using Electro/Sandman deck with Black Panther-Armin Zola or Galactus-Alioth and works great. Almost all the games once you drop sandman on turn 4 they retreat

I have a super fun shuri deck with hope. Kind of a zero/destroyer type deck with armor. Essentially Sauron shuri play lines but without Sauron or red skull with a bit more control too it.

Great video! What’s the rule of thumb when playing Shuri+Kitty on turn 5?? Do you want to play shuri last to get a bigger kitty on Turn 6 or just go ahead and double the kitty on 5?

Only reason I can think of doubling kitty on 5 is just having free will on which lane you want to play Kitty on turn 6?? Nonetheless, loved the video 🎉

Playing kitty first and then shuri will net you more power in the long run. As usual, good video!!!

Yeah Hope Summers is great. So far HE is the best fit for her in my testing. She takes a midling mid-range deck and turns it into a power house.

If you don’t get Kitty in the first deck until later, it’s a loss or retreat for sure which is why I can’t get there with this one. I start with high cost cards and Forge Nico and HulkBuster as my first many draws

The only reason I’m yet to get Hope is not that she’d be nerfed to a 3/3 but that she’d be ongoing in 3 months. Just hate that feeling.

If she becomes a 4 cost I'm gonna be so mad about spending money to get her! I love playing her with Psylocke and Grandmaster!

Isn’t it almost always better to play kitty and then shuri if you’re planning to copy kitty with taskmaster on the las turn? you get 4 extra points because kitty returns to your hand and then yo play her turn 6 with task master

Oh nice... I've still not used Kitty yet. I got her for free during a random login, when I was on hiatus from the game. I heard she was good, but then was nerfed, so it's going to be nice to get to use her, eventually.

Making it Ongoing rather than just a card affect would go a long way. You can't play it in certain lanes and gives the opponent a chance to get rid of the affect. I suppose that could be abused too by Onslaught and those things. Just a tough card to get around.

I am thinking of starting a spreadsheet of all the “random” events to take place to prove there is no way they are random. You can’t lose every “random”event. I will then present my findings to the marvel snap community

Elsa Release was arguably the most broken, it didn't even survive it's own season before being nerfed.

I feel like Hope is very strong but not op ? Like.. she's just on that edge where I think she doesn't need to get nerfed just yet.

Two cards that LOVE being played early? Hot location allows playing them early lol. Will be interesting to see how they are not played a turn early every time.

I think it’s hilarious that neither Alex nor Cozy mentioned Thanos as great synergy for Hope. I’ve found a Thanos ramp shell to be the best home for her, she’s absolutely insane.

They actually have a leak for her and she's like a 3/1 that can move each turn and gets +1 each time she moves. So excited for her, but she was leaked forever ago so who knows when she'll come out.​@Gettingbento

Cards are usually only leaked a month or two before they release, since they are datamined as soon as they are in the game files. It's a shame because I would also love to see Blink in the game, and that ability seems really fun.

Cozy, NEVER play Kitty on the middle site first turn if you can’t play left because it’s a destroy site. If that middle site reveals to the one that negates card text, you’ve just lost your Kitty for the rest of that game. Always play it at the right location on Turn 1 if you cannot play left. Hope that tip helps you in a future game!

Yea I agree I don't think Hope survives without a nerf. War Machine will make it even more apparent.

What I like: She's a great ramp card, if not a little less easy to play than Electro, Wave or Corvus. What I hate: She's a Series 4/5 card, the best card to play with her is also a Series 4/5 card: Kitty Pryde. If you do not have Kitty Pryde, you shouldn't even bother. Just like with Pixie, who's best deck requires that you have Mobius. If you don't have Mobius, you shouldn't bother.

Yea hope will probably get a nerf like "next turn gain +1 energy for every card played here" she is so strong it's incredible right now

As soon as this season ends she’ll get changed to a 4/4 with only 1 card getting the +1 energy per turn (like they did to Lockjaw) Save your money, or know that she gets nerfed asap

I'm going with the Jean Grey version just to not be meta 😂

I must have terrible Rng I am drawing hope on turn 4 , 9 out of 10 times. A little frustrating but when she lands early it's pretty good.

I think this card should get adjusted but I'm tired of them nerfing season pass cards. Get it right the first time.

Hope doesnt need a nerf yet. And upcoming card Red hulk will be the answer to this bs energy gen tech with hope and corvus. Im floating energy every turn with hope. 8 energy is pointless on t5 if you dont have 2 4s or a 6 and a 2. Most of the time you wont have that and the most likely thing youll do is the old 6 on t5 Even tho energy gen is a better effect than zabu i still think zabu is far more consistent.

Every game against a Hope player was so frustrating. Busted ass pay to win bullshit. She can’t get nerfed soon enough

If she is more flexible than Pixie, I would play on top of her all season. 😂

I will refuse to buy overpowered season cards after Elsa got nerfed a few weeks after buying. Same will happen here and its annoying
