Red Guardian imo is the first of many cards that will affect cards that are not on-reveal and ongoing. Its a good tech card (not crazy power to balance it)

I got Red Guardian while chasing down High Evolution. Had I gotten High Evo first, I was going to try to grab Red Guardian anyway. I just feel like he's a card where, if not great now, will be a tool you'll be thankful to have in your back pocket in the future. He's already pulling his weight in the few games I've played today. Shutting down Iron Man was insanely satisfying.

I planned to use Red Guardian in Sera Control deck (with other technical cards like Shadow King, Enchantress, Shang-Chi and Mobius), but after Zabu nerfed, my desire to knock out this card went away 🙄

For Devil Dino and Knull, wouldn't they be too high power, or does he only look at a card's base power? I went into keys for this since I didn't have LDS or a good High Evo variant. Been using Nina's list and enjoying him.

It doesn't look at base power. They need to be in a lane by themselves or you'll likely hit something smaller.

@justinwaller9665 only if they're alone in the lane, though, which oftentimes won't be the case. Sure, the power swing would be massive if it connects, but I wouldn't say they're prime targets for him.

7:40 i had that phenomenal luck of not getting high evo after 3 key's, but i got the great deathstrike variant so its somewhat ok.

The cyclops in the video is great against high evo before turn 3 cards. Destroys their scalers/affliction cards.

Sera Control is pretty good against those cards, discard not so much but guardian basically just answers Dracula but he’s not as popular as Hela discard with Black Knight. Which not many cards can counter other than lockdown and some control with Cosmo

If you play less cards than them, they lose more power than you. Your floats build up your other cards to make them cheaper/more powerful. Fewer cards but bigger power cards. Less cards get hit by hazmat on your side

Should have just played nothing mid at the 23:10 game right? He won either way, but he made the middle location weaker for no potential benefit I could think of by putting both the sunspots down.

Widow! So far this is not that great of a card. Several ppl saying he is mediocre or just fine. Wait until the end of the week to know for sure. But if you dont have HE then open spotlights.

If you played a card on "curve", then that means you played it on the turn which was most optimal to be played on. Such as Scorpion on turn 2, Hope Summers on 3, etc.

Gotta love that they just really won't budge on making starter cards relevant. At a minimum Cap and Punisher should be 3/4 with the current baseline stats.

I put red guardian in my Surfer Buff deck and he isn’t that bad in it.

RG is Rogue 2.0, IMHO. For those considering. Pick him up when convenient.

IMO this feels like a 4 star card, I didn't do any special brews for him, I just took multiple decks with Rogue in them and swapped in Red Guardian and while his best case scenario isn't as strong as Rogue, he' s just stronger in a wider variety of scenarios.

No Luke Cage?

In all honesty, this season is making it hard for me to keep playing snap.

I have yet to lose to this High Evo deck... I'm like 15-0 against it, it's really really bad. I've seen a few alterations to it here and there, but I've yet to lose to any version with hazmat, scorpion, and red guardian. It trades out all the power for "I hope this works" cards. The game has way too much power in it these days to be hoping for toxic to be good. Then again.... no one plays my black swan deck so maybe everyone will be fine.
