What if you use chain and a pad lock around a tree instead of a drag? To help prevent theft.

Certainly could do that. We run quite a few traps, for us it wouldn't be cost effective or efficient.

Great videos, being a squirrel hunter and a trapper maybe they didn't realize it was in a trap until after it was dispatched? Nice day on the line.

I dont know the laws where you guys trap but here in pa it is illegal for somebody to kill an animal in somebody elses trap.
