You have to always be gauging whether she's in to it or not, and back off immediately if she isn't. Russell is very talented at reading people and knowing when to back off which is why he doesn't come across as creepy.

From what I observed, I think is more of having control of the situation without the girl knowing, combined with other factors obviously, like not seeming desperate or looking not trying so hard. It is a complete art; and I am not talking about just flirting girls; to use those skills to make friends or subjects related to it also help to better the whole skill set.

He's personally exactly my type (tall, curly dark hair, facial hair, good fashion sense, good bone structure, dark intense eyes). I’m 5 years clean and can say that, if your sobriety is solid, having alcohol in front of you does not entice you in the slightest. If the sight of those bottles made him want to drink, he’s probably having issues staying clean everywhere.
