kid puts a big ole smile on my face. and the blues will live on
This. This right here is how I'm going to raise my son. I was singing the blues when I was six, and I want to pass that on.
Are you kidding me??!!!!?? For a 10-year old to play that well is absolutely AWESOME!!!

Kid is great.
Where is the 10 year old young man NOW??? That was AWESOME!!!
God willing, this little guy will grow to be a big guy and keep this classic sound going another 70 years.
This kid has real God given talent and is total awesome.
It's so nice to hear kids play the blues that I grew up with.
You are a success Son. Love to see the results of your time and efforts my man.
RIP Mr. Cotton, Superharp. Saw him in a club around 1974, near his prime; entered through the back of the club through the crowd, wailing full bore and never let up. Like all the giants of blues harmonica, he was about more than technical prowess. Muddy's harp sidemen began with Walter, then Junior Wells, then Cotton, and all had style to spare. It's fine to see a kid like this, but in the modern world several facts are clear - too many paths diverge, and most are far more lucrative and trouble-free than music, and especially real blues. Look at the few other young white guitar studs like Johnny Lang. One huge factor that led both Cotton and Jr. Wells to follow Sonny Boy's road was the lack of many other opportunities. Now that music's changed, young black men don't care about the blues, for the most part, and no one can blame them.
Little Joshua was sensational in both voice and harmonica. What a marvelous display.❤❤😮😮
I like natural talent and this is one of the best I’ve ever seen 👍👍👍👍
So much soul...So much musicianship - in such a small package. He's a good reminder of the heart and soul in music that a lot of the big stage musicians forget is the reason they started in the first place. Yes!!! Loved it! Thank you!
There very rare moment in life when I can't simply trust what I see or hear. This is one of those moments. He is only ......... 10!!!! Keep singing young man.
I've been playing harmonica for 50 years and the young guy puts me to shame. God bless him. I really enjoyed that. I've seen James Cotton twice. He was amazing .
Love that he keeps looking at Cotton, and Cotton is teaching him (LIVE) and keeping him on the beat!

Best thing about this is a young boy being mentored just perfectly. Old man young boy one song bring joy.
Yes sir young man, you are a diamond in the rough and a rare one indeed. Most people of your age would have the look of puzzlement and ask.....what are the the blues?? You are a gem, you will go far young man. Just happen to notice that this young man is now legally a man.
Where is this young man today? Go Joshua...........

Holy crap, he can blow that harmonica too! Stay with your music, Josh, your life will be so much happier.
Who are the "JackWagons" who gave this a thumbs down? Mr. Cotton had to be thrilled that his legacy was being carried forward in good hands. James Cotton was one of the best harp players ever.
So awesome to see there will be a next generation to step up like this kid and Quinn Sullivan when the legends of Blues like BB King and Buddy Guy are gone. I think that's what Buddy Guy was doing when he took Quinn Sullivan under his wing; ensuring the Blues will never die or be forgotten. Very cool!!!
Joshua was a bit nervous here, understandably, but every now and then it was easy to hear the bluesman in him... His vibrato and phrasing was VERY good..... His tone of voice was lovely to listen to also....... Anyone checked to see how he sings now? He should be amazing!!!
how wonderful. as an ex teacher, I wish all children had access to the blues! wonderful.
Amazing! Just so... flippin' amazing. Love this 💖
Don't worie, dis music will never die!!

Well done blues boy Joshua King ....and you have the right name!!
With that kind of soul, his woman must’ve left him 50 years before he was even born
Omg amazing !!!
great boy great music
I can't even begin to wonder what is going through his head.10yo on stage with a living blues legend.
Nothing like the Blues........That was 2011and he was great. I wonder what he sounds like now. if he's still playing.
Very well done! Lots of nice little touches. The kid seems to have a good feeling for the idiom. I liked when the guitarist did the little wolf whistle lick. Let's hope blues makes a comeback. We have a million great guitarists but precious few new blues singers, at least that I'm aware of. And James Cotton has gained a few pounds since 1968 when I last saw him. He needs to shape up so he can get back to being a Hoochie Coochie man.
The talent that can be showcased is truly truly amazing g, what a soulful kid 👍🏽
Well they just made my day. ❤️👌👍👏
WTG! He's got a young man's voice and an old man's soul.
