Lovely boat! But please stop standing on it on land any sharp object could go through it and then it will feel very second hand I watched someone do it on KZread the other day!! 👍

Looks like you decided to fit transom wheels was it too heavy to lift down the slip ? We bought wheels for are Honwave but they don't fit what one's did you get ? And we also had trouble with are Air Pump (boatworld) fitting the Honwave valve and had to cut the centre bar out and take some of the meat off the bits that clip in to make them thinner it now fits perfectly.

Hi, yes it’s way to heavy to carry without wheels (probably around 140 kg with outboard attached) with wheels i can launch it on my own. I’m not sure brand of the wheels (i been offered at shop where i find a boat and outboard- Simpson marine-Newhaven) Wich Honwave do you have?

@@expedition-UK T38IE3 the one without trim tabs 2021 but the wheels we have don't have enough clearance and will rub the bottom of the boat if we fit them they are the easy fold spring loaded type that fold up onto the transom not the type that are longer and stick above the transom.

The other videos that I have seen say that it is best to partially inflate the boat first. What does it say in the instructions please?

On a side note....Where did you launch? I seem to recognise the blue van that you are parked next to (It's a custom van). It's quite distinctive!

Hi Chris, for me personally much easier to put ali floor in place when not inflated at all😉 I did launch from Newhaven-Simpson Marine slip. It cost 10£.

There are so many Honwave and other inflatables that show how to unpack and inflate your new boat. There are absolutely none that shows how to deflate and pack away your boat, plus sizes for people to plan for their individual road car or vehicle. Will the deflated Honwave T40 fit in a car roof storage box, etc. These things are important too.

Having trouble finding the right air pump, that does not need a power supply from my vehicle that will be parked some distance away. What pump are you using and the cost of the pump is also important.

Use a leaf blower, it will inflate the sib in a tenth of the time a 12V pump takes. Then simply top up the air with either a high pressure foot pump or a 12V pump. The whole exercise will then take a little over 2 minutes. Look for a video by SOUTHYS FISHING, he shows exactly what you need and how to do it.

definitely the 18volt leaf blowers are the fastest and best for boating. you can blow away the sand inside the boat, dry the boat , and also dry the motor after freshwater flushing.

They actually should first fill the boat to about 60-70% first and afterwards put the plates in, because then the air chaimbers have been formed already, which makes it easier to lay the plates and fit it quicker.

@@markweatherall7437 Yes, it does. In the front panel there is a hole in which the tube fits to pump up/down the floor/keel to rest on.

@Domenico : You can generally say that half of total weight is the pvc boat, the other half is panels+aluminum panel bars+seats. You can carry the panels etc piece by piece in separate bags, and it's never a problem. Bare boat weight is the problem here. T38ie inflatable bottom is definitely lighter than an aluminum floor model, but that weight 48kg comes in one piece and in a very very large bag.
