Can I ask what is the boat like on fuel? What size tank do You take? Like you I sometimes need portability. Also wondered how portable this is when deflated. As a Sib will it go in the back of am estate?

I can’t find the figures on fuel use I had written down. I carry a 25ltr tank when I use the 9.9/15hp. It really depends on how I drive and also the sea state can have a large affect on fuel consumption. Mine rolls down and would go in a estate car but I use my van. The t38 is quite heavy but one person should easily move it once deflated.

@@123boat thanks for your reply. I have 4m flat bottom inflatable at the moment but like the look of these new sibs, especially when you get caught out on a swell. So any info would be appreciated. Mine is about 35kg so I have a small sack truck to wheel it to shore and pump up there. Where I take it I would struggle with launch wheels like you because it's a narrow path. So I was hoping to be able to do a honwave the same way. Maybe I need to look at the 3.5m version. Thanks for help

@@gs425 Mines 48kg so a bit of a lump. The wheels are great for most slipways I use but on sand or shingle it would be a nightmare. What I carry (spare fuel, anchor plus big box of tricks!!!) depends on where and what I’m doing. If I’m planning on going out to sea I normally load it with a lot of gear but if I’m solo fishing say in Poole Harbour then I go as light as I can with a 3.5hp outboard. I was tempted to get a smaller Honwave but I can stretch out in mine when I want a rest 😂

@@123boat Yes 48 is a bit of a lump especially when flying solo. I live in Swanage so yes mainly to use in and around Poole harbour. And of course there are heavy speed limits in there too lol

Southys Fishing 😂 There is a ledge under the sea that rises about 20 feet, that causes the rough sea at certain times 👍

Hi,is that a homemade transducer arm attached to the seat? I'm looking at making something similar.

Hi aaa aaa Yes it is. All I do is twist it down and lock it with 2 bolts through the electrical conduit and through the seat when I want to use it. I bring it up for fast speed and landing. I will have to do a video on it in more detail when it’s warmer 👍

@@123boat Brilliant idea. The trim tabs make it near impossible to use a transducer arm off the back. I'll have a go at making one like yours. Thanks for the reply and happy boating.

@@aaaaaa-gs4kv I did have it strapped to the tube at the rear but was a pain when landing ashore. Only issue with how I fix it, is a bit of wash coming into the sib at speed, otherwise it works perfectly. Happy boating too 👍
