Honestly. At one point in time, I thought this was guy was just bitter and such. The more I have seen his interviews like this. I've become a fan. The guy tells the truth. The guy knows the business. It's too bad one of the other promotions haven't gave him a job behind the scenes. I think he has a lot to offer.

I think the "bitter" interviews might have been when he was stoned or drunk. He seems like a pretty decent guy here. In some of those other interviews, he's a total asshole.

No one in WWE office likes him because he isin't a "Yes" man and tells it like it is...you want to survive in WWE as an office guy you have to be an ass kisser like Michael Hayes or Bruce Pritchard

Not a yes man at all, but doesn’t come off as super assertive either. And I get that from his stories, not somebody burying him. His only bargaining chip seemed to be “fine, I’ll leave”

I was lucky enough to se Wayne at the start of his career in Memphis, the Blond Bombers vs Lawler and Dundee in Tupelo was replayed on Memphis tv for years. He already cemented his place in wrestling history years before his epic WWF run. Still the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time.

"YOU DON'T LIKE ME? AFTER ALL I DID FOR Y'ALL! I KISSED A LOT OF UGLY BABIES WITH PUKE ON THEIR MOUTHS!!!!" my friends and I were laughing our asses off after that vote of confidence turn speech. after that, seeing him at 3 shows in the next 2 years, he got the most boos out of anyone. on 2 occasions when hulk hogan was on the card, his boos were louder then hulk's or anyone else's cheers. I always enjoyed that! good to see him doing well and looking good!

He didn't mention that the original story for Honky was that Hulk Hogan begged him to come "Back" to the WWF. Honky's promos incorporated this; then it was all abandoned when he debuted as a new guy with no Hogan connection.

His babyface days were bad in WWF not only because he was a natural heel, but because he had no finisher back then. The finisher was a flying fist off the top ropes, which was terrible. Thank goodness they came up with the "shake, rattle and roll" which was the perfect finisher for his gimmick!

+Matt O'Brien 10-1 the boys in Kanasas City. Theres a story I heard from Jim Ross about back at a conference he was at, during a break he went to the men's room and was in a stall. Three of the main promotors came in and JR knew the voices, he lifted his legs up, and heard them talking about McMahon. They talked about that SOB , JR knew who they meant and one said "We oughta just kill the son of a bitch" I think if the promotors AWA, NWA, WCCW, Flordia, Georgia, CWA put aside their egos and differences they could have kicked the WWEs ass
