Hong Kong police arrest protesters attempting to leave besieged university campus
Hong Kong police laid siege to a university on Monday, arresting anti-government protesters while firing rubber bullets and tear gas to pin back them back as dozens of students tried to leave the Polytechnic campus by breaking through police lines after a night of mayhem in the Chinese-ruled city.
Some were arrested, tackled to the ground, as others scrambled and tripped over barricades and fences. Riot police were putting up barricades of their own to keep the protesters in one place. Earlier, police urged the protesters to "drop their weapons" and leave. Police did not explain their tactics on Monday.

Attempting to leave after setting the place on fire???
After all, Hongkong people are not stupid, can tell the difference between rioter & protester, and can see the motive & plot behind.
I wonder if they'll call this a peaceful demonstration if it happened in Canada
These kids will be in their 30s when they get out of prison.
I foresee next year university fees will be higher ... and your parents are paying.
No one to clean the toilets or do the washing up. Time to go home.
In other countries, these people are classified as terrorists not protestors. Check out what they did.
If the press is hiding with protesters they should be treated like the protesters
Looks like the aftermath from a zombie movie.
Hong Kong university students never studied US history about Waco Texas.
Arrest the riot mastermind
They should be punished and pay whatever they destroyed.
Where had the over 2 million protestors gone now?
The are not protest, they are criminals, and they have committed a great crime against Hong Kong people. And sin is unforgivable.
Whoever involved in ruining Hong Kong must be punished!!!!
In the name of democracy, how many crime have been committed
Well done, Officer!
Look at those press, they are walking side to side with the protesters, and yet they cry when tear gas accidentally hit them, dont they know camera zoom function?
By the way, the police asked the rioters and terrorists in the campus to surrender in peace! Just in case you missed it.
Congratulations. The police records will follow them rest of the lives. Cannot migrant cannot apply visa to another country
