I was lucky enough to go for honeymoon and first international travel to Maldives at a luxury private island - Paradise Island Report & Spa. All thanks to my marriage.
Paradise Island Resort & Spa is a budget luxury private resort located in North Male Atoll in Maldives. This private retreat is highly recommended for honeymooners, group or family holidays and solo escapes on a low budget. The island offers to experience the luxuries of Maldives in a private island on a budget. The budget private island is just 15 minutes away from Male International Airport by a speedboat.
With all the hallmarks of a fivestar resort the island offers beachfront villas and over water villas at a very low price so an average person can enjoy a luxury over water experience on a very low budget. All the villas are equipped with state-of-the-art modern amenities including a huge flat screen and surround sound audio system. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the island.

Just a few questions : Are these below prices for a couple or its like 250 per person for full board and 600 per person for water villa and 100 per person for special dinner. And what exactly is special dinner. Superior beach bungalow : $175 - $250 (Full Board) Water Villa : $500 to $600 (Full Board) Special Dinners - Starts $100 Also do they have photographers on the resort, if yes how much would that cost for a couple photoshoot of some 10 photos on different locations of the resort.

Hi...I am planning to go there for honeymoon this December. And I am getting the "5Nights, 6 days" package through "Make My Trip" in 1.6 Lakhs which includes flight bookings, hotel stay (with breakfast, lunch and dinner) and transfers from airport. Akshay Godse i think it’s a fair deal. Only thing will have to spend there is Diving and spa if you want to and there are some special dinner arrangements. I would suggest to stay at least 1 or 2 days in water villa.

Do they consider egg as vegetarian? If yes then how to recognise if this particular dish has egg in it We are non swimmers will it be safe to try our hands on snorkelling and cannoeing by our own or we should take training which I think they take extra charge for snorkeling..... karan egg is non veg for them. It will clearly mentioned in fact there is a separate vegetarian counter for India and they serve Jain food also. Most kitchen ppl are Indian and bangladeshi so you can talk to them. Snorkelling is safe , they provide training and trainer will be with you all the time. Canoeing is very easy , they will train you if you want. Thanks buddy

Hotel is what you book on mmt incl meal. I paid for transfers $108 per person. Green tax $3 per person per day. If you do watersports you will pay for it. That’s it!

Hi Arjun, yes you can but you won’t be able to afford the private islands. You can go to an public island like Mafushi or any public island nearby to the airport. You should be good at this budget then !

@@arjunpatel1351 do flight and hotel booking first online. Transfer, scuba and other activities you can pay at the hotel. Keep a budget for everything and allocate amount to each activity. I would recommend at least take 500$ cash with you.

Maldives is a small country and they would have very little access to foreign country police systems. Unless you had committed a very major offence or been put on Interpol or something, the Maldives government would have no way to know if you had a criminal record or not.

It will get caught at the airport in the baggage. Alcohol is not allowed in maldives. Only Private islands are allowed to sell.
