    As an addict in recovery myself it’s awesome to see how good Jason looks and sounds. Opiates steal your soul and it’s so hard to kick. Happy for him!

    I once heard a theory that heroin "preserves" a person. As in they basically stop aging while they're on it. Heroin only - no meth, crack, etc. And I think there is something to that. Every person I know, including myself, who was on heroin, looks ten years younger than they are. I bet you also look young for your age.

    @@AnthonySal I'm almost 40 & I look mid 20s, my younger brother who's been clean besides alcohol & cigarettes, looks like he could be my uncle. It's kind of amazing how we luck out despite our mistakes.. Also, I hid it from everyone, & unlike most addicts, I NEVER talk about it. Can't stand addicts who bring it up every time they run into old friends

    You can always tell when someone is truly in recovery too, cause they know the exact time & place they last used. It's almost unmistakable, depending on drug of choice obviously

    What a story, big fan of Jason i had no idea he battled addiction like this for so long. Really glad to see he's doing well these days, thank god i never did heroin but i definitely know the struggle of long term pain pill addiction. Thanks for this episode Ryan🙏

    Pain pills are made from the heroin in poppy plants like your regular street heroin just pharmaceutical companies have a base line dose

    totally losing my mind seeing Jay on the Honeydew! I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting him last year at comic con. I didn’t have a meet and greet, yet he was still so genuine, gracious, and kind. He took time to greet everyone who came up to him, even when he was away from his booth. Great dude, can’t say enough good things about him

    Love you Jason! I looked like you from 14-20. I’ve listened to yo and Kevin through Jay and Silent Bob get Old. I ended up getting addicted to h and clear, and got sober for my wife. My kids give me evermore reason to stay sober and keep moving forward. Thank you for your inspiration and motivation to be better, brother. I gotta thank Kevin S too, for setting up the platforms, and creating so much for viewers like me to see and listen to. God bless! 🍀

    Man I would love to see him do stand up and support him in anyway. I relate way too much to the stories about his mom. When you’re a kid and you’ll do anything to get time with your mom. I used to beg my mom when I was like 5 years old to let me be in the room when she’d shoot up just to be with her for like 5 minutes.
