I hope this video will be the first in a series of videos about our family boating adventures.
This video shows us buying a new to us, used 2003 Sea Ray 225 Weekender boat, and a new 2019 Venture VATB-5225 boat trailer. The boat is equipped with the larger optional 5.7 liter MPI MerCruiser motor, Bravo III drive, camper canvas enclosure, and more. It had been in long term storage due to the previous owner having health related issues.
About us:
We are a 50+ year old couple living near Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We intend to trailer boat. Our destinations will include the bay of Green Bay on Lake Michigan, and instate bodies of water including Lake Winnebago and the Winnebago Pool Chain of Lakes consisting of Lake Butte Des Morts, Winneconne, Poygon, Partridge, the Fox and Wolf river, the Waupaca King chain of lakes, Lake Du Bay on the Wisconsin River, the Eagle River chain of lakes and more.

Doug Ales Same here. I filmed a bit this weekend, like cruising style videos. But now I cannot remeber where I set my camera on the boat... oops! I will hopefully have some how to related videos for the winter as well.
Nice looking boat Doug. Sea Ray is well known for quality. Please post some video of you enjoying out on Green Bay......maybe a run over to Washington Island in the future? Found you over on Jody and Jessicas channel. ( I made the cutting board) Maybe you need to set that boat up for Walleye fishing, you are in a good area for that.
