Honey Cookies! You will actually taste HONEY in them.
Ойын-сауық
To create this recipe, I was inspired by my trip to Pine, AZ.
They have Honey Stand, where they sell local honey. I usually get my honey from them. So, decided to use it in cookie recipe. I hope you will give this recipe a try.
HONEY COOKIES
You will need:
150 g honey
100 g brown sugar
100 g butter
500 g (more or less) all purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
Method:
In a large mixing bowl sift in flour. Take out 3 tablespoons and reserve if we need to add more flour to our dough.
To the rest, add salt and baking powder and mix.
Set aside.
In a medium saucepan add homey and brown sugar.
Heat it up and slowly bring to a boil. Make sure all sugar has dissolved.
Take off the heat and add butter into cubes.
Mix so it is combined. This will also to bring temperature of our caramel down and allow us to pour into flour.
Add 1 egg to dry ingredients and mix well until crumbs consistency.
Then add honey, sugar and butter mixture. We are making cooked dough.
So mix everything well.
Start adding more flour until dough reaches right consistency (see test in the video).
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
After the dough has been cooled you can molded into molds, use cookie stamps or simply cut out circles.
Bake at 350°F(180°C) for 10-13 minutes.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much🌹
nice , i will try
Just made them and they are delicious. I had a few jars of honey left from last last years harvest and needed to make room for the next harvest. Used raw cane sugar instead of refined sugar, which gave the cookies even more flavor.

Thank you. You will love them! We call them Pryaniki using cooed dough. If you keep them in the air-tight container, they will stay fresh for a long time. 💯 Let me know how you liked it.
can you maybe cover wooden mold in strech folia and then place dough over

No. You will not get a perfect imprint. You can dust it with flour instead of using oil.
Salted butter or unsalted?
