Yes, there are actually some pretty good moments in this film. I mean, it really does suck, but it's not entirely terrible. And the one thing I disagree with the Honest Trailer is that the movie is not boring; it's actually quite fun in a very, very dumb way.

The Midwest Beast And hes hurt the hulk. Though not enough to kill him obviously. Neither one can kill each other. However unlike others Wolverine does not back down, its what the Hulk kinda likes about him.

While I completely understand the distaste for Deadpool's treatment in his final battle, the after-credits scene showed that the stitches on his mouth came off and he looked directly to the camera and shushed the audience.

After seeing Black Panther, and hearing rumors about the comics, it might be possible to have a love story between Black Panther and Storm. Another possibility is that I'm thinking Deadpool ought to be the new cameo character to succeed Stan Lee. Not sure if an intentional Big Lipped Alligator Moment would work or monitor, but apparently, one fan video in particular exceeded all of my expectations of how I imagined the said scene would play out if it does happen.

I am a huge fan of marvel. I honestly sort of like this movie but what they did to deadpool was very awful, deadpool is known as "the merc with a mouth" because he has a huge sence of humour and is always cracking jokes while he is fighting, so that's why a lot of people did not like it

I find it funny that people hate this movie soley because of what they did with deadpool. This isn't a deadpool movie, it's wolverine. It's like people who hate iron man 3 just because of the Mandarin. It is a reason but to hate an entire movie just because of a character who isn't what the movie is focusing on is odd to me.

You're absolutely right, but you need to go a bit further than ignoring the third act. You'd need to ignore the second act, as well. And.. well.. the first act. Oddly enough, the only three well-cast roles were Wade, Victor and Logan. And I suppose the Hudsons, though they're never even called the Hudsons. First, the premise - a super-mutant is being created. This can be brushed off by DoFP because it's robotic and serious mutilations and murders are shown of the mutant population previously seen. Deadpool is biological, harvested from a dead mutant. What? That was never his ability. So don't call the character Deadpool. Make a new one up. Second, the use of Silverfox. Why do this to a character that was actually strong in the story? Logan's failure to keep Silverfox safe is a moment of immense tragedy for him and sets off Logan's constant fear of failing the women he loves. She owns no tactile manipulation abilities, she has the ability to heal and the ability to suppress her own aging process - the first of which was acquired from Logan's DNA. That's it. Third, Kestrel was a great idea and horribly cast. Will.i.am? Just too damn young. It seemed very much like pandering. Fourth, why introduce Scott Summers? What possible reason? Please explain this as "if you ignore the last third," this is fundamental story incestuous stupidity. Same goes for Emma, though she's entirely in the last third. Fifth, Gambit. Why? If you're going to execute a character, bother to give a shit. Is his mutant ability telekinetics? 'cause that's what that shit looks like. He can twirl cards in the air, apparently. How quaint and dainty. No, he can charge an inanimate object and throw it, causing it to explode on contact. If he charged his staff, it'd blow up in his hand. Sixth, Blob was stupid. Think that's around the halfway mark. This was a horrible movie. It isn't the last third or the last half, it was the first half and the second half.

  • @shadowspider9

    @shadowspider9

    10 жыл бұрын

keuric Like I said it's a decent movie if you ignore everything after the waterfall scene because that's when all the things you just mentioned come into play. Deadpool. Gambit, Silverfox's powers, Scott, Emma. All the stupid and contrived plot twists, such as Silverfox and Victor working for Striker and Striker's stupid reasoning of, needing Wolverine to volunteer for the adumantium. All of it is relegated to the horrible third act. Before that it's simply Logan used to work for Weapon X, quit, wanted to be left alone. Victor kills his girlfriend to torture him, then Logan get's metal claws to get revenge. You could have easily have made it the process destroys his mind and your done.

Well, on that note, 3:28 cracks me up. There WAS a cartoon that I actually recommend to anyone who watched this honest trailer, and that is Hulk vs. Wolverine. It's the only known feature length production I know that has Deadpool in it. Seriously! We only need one Deadpool movie to be his origin story and then he can cameo in whatever movie he wants for a completely random slap stick musical fight scene that has nothing to do with the movie (or TV show episode if you're looking at Agents of SHIELD) at all, complete with fourth wall breaking. Seriously! Deadpool needs to do big lipped alligator moments, INTENTIONALLY! I can totally see him do it!

Firehawk376 teleportation belt, look it up, also I think he deserves a backstory because when you actually analyze it, its one of Marvel's more depressing and mature stories about a guy who really wants to die, but can't and just covers up his suicidal tendencies with bad jokes. Marvel later just embraced deadpool as comedic relief and it adds a surprising amount of depth to the character

Wolverine resists having his mind erased only to later have his mind erased, completely negating any story arc he had. It was sad/amusing watching him look at his dead girlfriend (who was only pretending to be his girlfriend except for later on when she wasn't... I guess) not knowing who she was, and just walking away all confused. Just like the audience did.

Wouldn't hold your breath. One, because the Gambit film has been "infinitely delayed" by Fox. As in they say they plan on making it but they didn't even have a script when it was due to start being worked on so it's a "when we can" thing. And, two, Fox are apparently *ALREADY* planning on rebooting the X-Men universe. Literally one whole movie after rebooting it. Mainly because Jackman is definitely going and Lawrence, McAvoy and Fassbender are highly doubtful to return.

Honest trailer, The Wolverine: "Now, for the second fucking time, witness Wolverine, in another, extremely, boring movie!" "Where he: miraculously survives a nuclear bomb". "Has memories of WWII (even though we discover he lost his memory after being shot in the head by Striker, right?)" "Has his healing factor suppressed, yes somehow survives; being stabbed, a lot". "And, has his indestructible claws, cut off(?)" "Now sit back and watch , all the same stuff from the last Wolverine movie, like: a love interest; that really does nothing for the overall story". "That one cool scene that you loved (for about two minutes before it's over and then back to boring stuff) (Burst out of the water tank/fight on top of a train) "And the introduction of a beloved comic book character, only to be disappointed by what they did to them" (Deadpool/Silver Samurai). Side note; I actually enjoyed this movie, and wasn't disappointed by what they did to Silver Samurai. I do love the water tank scene in Origins, right up until he jumps over the waterfall. I really water you to incorporate this into your honest trailer for The Wolverine when/if you make it. Please give this some thought, I really want feedback.

Really the first 2/3 of The Wolverine were pretty enjoyable but it just kind of rushed the end. Also they put the love interest in because she is canon but it's not like they focused half the movie on her. I thought they do a nice nod to the amazing love scene in The Last Samurai by copying it with less intensity in The Wolverine.

yes they really skimp out on the action lately. let's not forget greenscreen lantern. 45 minutes of him and carol dicking around before a mediocre final battle against giant yellow spaceblob. that said thor 2, amazing spiderman, avengers, captain america, and guardians of the galaxy were still pretty good. and and days of future past at least had a good ending.

This whole Marvel thing has become one big Monopoly game. Different studios owning rights to different characters, but no one owning the rights to all of them. So we don't have a universe where all the characters exist and fight with and against each other like in the comics.

OK point 1:agent zero actually has quite a good history and point 2: hopefully they rectify the deadpool mistake in his own movie which the actor who played deadpool (cant remember his name) said if they did a deadpool film he would apologize to the audience for how he was portrayed in that film (since he can break the 4th wall and everything) so yeah that should be good then.

  • @necroshadowtechmagosprimar8478

also forgot to mention when they were making wolverine they wanted to do a canadian animal, so the choices were the wolverine or the fearsome....badger. so yeah dont complain about the story about his name since he could have been called the badger. yeah he would be so much worse if he was.

yeah i continuously remember new things so no complaining about all these comments. but yeah they did an animated film with wolverine fighting the hulk in it which also had a proper deadpool portrayal in it so yeah its good look it up.
