I dont understand the “left him dead” thing . I mean what could Shane do in that situation . All that equipment is what keep Rick alive at that time , if he try to bring Rick with him , Rick will be 100% dead . If he try to bring all the equipment along , he will get slow and both of them will be dead . So he come up with a best choice , leave Rick there , set up barricades to protect him , hopefully Rick will somehow wake up

Dale in 1st season was very wise, but in ss2 in order to fit Hershel in the group they decided to make Dale so stupid and killed him off. After all, there can only be one wise old man in the group at max

Shane is the one of the most crappiest characters in the Walking Dead history. The Governor was the worst. I have to agree Dale Face was funny. DAT FACE DOE.

Shane didn't really want to kill Rick. Remember how Shane had a gun pointed at rick and still didn't pull the trigger and then Rick stabbed him dead? Problem with some people is how self absorbed they are. For an example Dale in this show.

+darkservantofheaven Maybe it's because Michonne and the actress who plays her is genuinely awesome. I don't like the show much, but that actress brings a lot of life to the character, who is really inscrutable in the comics. Her, and the kid who plays Carl Grimes are both extremely good. In fact, there's plenty of talent on that show, but I just don't like the direction, pacing, or minimal-dialogue writing.

"Driving a fully loaded 2012 Hyundai Tucson. Damn, they keep that thing clean" You have no idea. One episode it's dirty and the next it's clean AF then the cycle starts over.

Coral is apparently a common southern pronunciation of the name Carl and this is Georgia so its kind of accurate.

You're not the only one. Season 2 was important from the standpoint of character development. It also provided breathing room for the group to bond.

Your comment about no one calling them zombies: The walking dead is set in an Earth where the idea of the dead coming back to life wasn't a thing, no zombie movies, no zombie games or anything. The whole zombie idea was new to everyone so they all call them their own names.

I think he means is that Portal was made by Valve, which came out a year before Left 4 Dead, so if that game exist, so does the latter,thus so does the concept of zombies. ....makes no sense but I think that's what he meant.

MrKosobi Hershel for example is at least twenty years younger in the comics and had 7 kids instead of 3 none of whom are Beth, and Tyrese had a teenage daughter instead of a sister, and those two sisters in S4 were twin boys in the comics who were adopted by Dale and Andrea (who had gotten together) after their parents died. Speaking of Dale and Andrea, Dale live way past the farm and even survived the whole prison fiasco (although he did lose one of his legs). And Andrea is still alive and believe it or not one of the more useful members of the group. I could go on all night writing down the differences in the characters and their stories their are just too many to count.

MrKosobi Jack pretty much said it. The characters backgrounds and personalities are almost nothing like from the book. I liked Shane, hate him in the show. LOVED Rick, but he is just annoying in the show a lot of the time. Judith was never born, Lori was killed in the Governers raid. The Governer didn't survive forever afterwards duping all sorts of random people, the people who raided the prison were Woodburry, not some other group he had roped in. Lori was an awesome character, Dale too. Michonne was less emotional and more badass. (Yea I said it and it's true lol!) Andrea was SO cool in the books, and is my least favorite in the show.

They call them walkers because they wanted it to seem like there was never a zombie craze and no one knew about any zombies. Hense the confusion on ricks face on the first few episodes 🙂

Still the best seasons of the show.

Meh, The Comics are better.

Actually, I think I have an explanation as to why no one says "zombie" in this show. I think in the world that this takes place in, "Night of the Living Dead", "Dawn of the Dead", and pretty much every form of media portraying reanimated corpses never happened and this is the first time anyone has been confronted with this type of monster so they gave it their own name

James Michel That is true, in the Walking Dead universes (Encluding the game) there are no zombie films, books or games. Nothing has ever been called zombie. In the game Lee called them zombies twice I think but otherwise there is no knowledge of zombies in the world.

I don't understand all the hate for Lori. Andrea is way more hated than her! She shot Daryl, she slept with the governor, she screws up pretty much anything she tries to do. And up until Season 3, she was the whiniest character. She just couldn't get over her sister and she wanted to kill herself. Lori actually never gave me a reason to dislike her.

Lori was the most annoying by far.. Playing 2 guys at the same time to get them to kill each other. Trying to kill her baby in secret. Calling rick a pussy all the time.

Lori is an incompetent mother and constantly fights Rick and the group on common sense. She even had the gall to try and stop the group from salvaging from vehicles on a highway because the highway felt "like a graveyard". That's all well and good but in an apocalypse, trying to respect the dead by not picking up vital supplies is going to get you killed.

I was happy when Andrea died. She was the dumbest, most annoying character to me. She shot Daryl because she wanted to stroke her own ego, Continuously slept with THE MOST SUSPICIOUS PERSON in in Woodbury, had the opportunity to kill the Governor and didn't go through with it because of her "feelings" and died in the dumbest fucking way possible. She was just pissing me off from day 1 with her whining and stupidity.

Actually she didn't kill the Governor bc the scientist stopped her I don't remember his name she isn't dumb she help the group out n the most possible and good ways I admit she did dumb things like shooting Daryl but her as a character wise she isn't dumb she actually is quite brave

Antwan Grays sorry to break it to you, but in the show, she slept with him (again) and while he was sleeping, she got out of bed and was going to slit his throat. She stopped and started crying because she couldn't go through with it. That was her feelings, not a scientist. 

I love how half the actors are British. I imagine between scenes they are all sitting around drinking tea. 🇬🇧

The second half is all character development. How is that lame? You can thank the previous showrunner for it if you don't like it. He basically didn't give a crap about the supporting cast. Scott Gimple is fixing that as he's letting us get to know these characters more. The only slow episodes this second half are "Still" and "Inmates." how did you not like, "After", "Claimed", or "Alone"? A lot of shit is happening, Beth being kidnapped and Daryl being recruited by that group that came into Rick's house a few episodes ago, meeting Abraham...plus the whole mystery behind Terminus. How is any of that lame?

My buddy and I watch it every monday morning during breakfast..and we have now both agreed that the constant slow episodes are boring as hell, Season 1-3 hardly had any..now season 4 is getting ruined.. Whats going to happen when they get to Terminus? find it thriving? new governor situation? run by Military? overrun by walkers? well we won't find out soon.. knowing our luck they will reach it by thanks giving then only next year Jan will they air season 5 which probobly will be jam packed with either lots of Bandit killing or no killing at all.

Fabián I. I haven't found it boring at all. the episode focused on Carl was great and very close to the quality of "Clear." The episode we got this week was really good at fleshing out Bob's character and we got a great Daryl action sequence. We also got that episode with the bandits who broke into the house Rick was crashing in and we were given a nice intro to Abraham that episode, that was good. Overall I'd say only last week's Daryl and Beth only episode was slow. I'm not sure how that makes the entire second half of this season boring. When I was studying intro to psych there was this study we discussed in which its argued that people tend to remember the bad over the good. that seems to be the case here. I think that it only feels boring because we're getting one episode per week. Binge watching is so much better as episodes go by faster and without any commercial break. My dad, uncle, and even I got kind of bored as we watched breaking bad one episode per week when it aired back in seasons 2 nd 3. Not much happened per episode, but when shit went down..holy crap. Then in order to prep for the series finale I binge watched the series and things kept moving at a great pace..it was just better that way.

Are you kidding? The beginning of season 4 sucked. Season 4 wasted the first 8 episodes of getting to know a bunch of people that were going to die (before or in the mid-season finale) JUST so that it could lead to a mid-season 4 finale that SHOULD'VE been our Season 3 finale since the plot and the result was almost the same anyway (the fight at the prison and the majority of the governor's side dying). In other words what they should've done was: 1) Season 3 finale plot/deaths + Season 4 mid finale plot twist/ending/deaths= Better Season 3 Finale 2) Take away ALL the episodes about the governor's stupid journey in season 4 = Moving forward and farther with the story thus making a better first half of season 4 and a better season altogether.

Season 4: The Governor's Revenge Goodbye Hershel/Hello Terminus Season 5: F You Termites/ Suspicious Father Gabriel Season 6-present : WTF?! Where did we go wrong?! Oh.. by killing off most of the likable characters.

Say what you want about the last half of season 4 being "slow." I thought 4 was a consistently strong season that was on point with great suspense, dynamic character development, great action, and an awesome setup for the 5th season. 4 was easily my favorite season since the 1st one.

And they didn't even mention the "biters" are basically corpses, that died 5 years ago and yep, they still walking strong, still haven't fallen apart. You'd think zombie apocalypse would end after a month or two when the flesh falls off the bones.

***** Comic book-wise, maybe, TV show-wise - don't make me laugh. You take a look at the kid in the first episode of season 1 and in the final few of this season and try to convince yourself that. Or were we supposed to pretend he is not growing?

I get Dale face every time I see my pay check.

This really made me laugh, and as a die hard fan of TWD (maybe literally) I didn't even notice some of the things like Shane rubbing his head (lol) or the silent hand gestures, but honestly the gestures make sense because they're trying not to alert the dead of their presence UNTIL THEY JUMP OUT ANS STAB THEM THROUGH THE BRAIN

Honestly one of my favorite videos of all time
