The coens proved less is more here. The lack of a music score really enhances these already tense scenes. Also, Anton Chigurgh is one of the greatest villains of all time.

It's like how a lot of people don't realize there's no musical score in the movie until it's pointed out. But it's lack adds to the atmosphere.

Having just watched Office Space for the first time, I was floored they made that reference LOL
That scene with Anton out in the hallway and all you hear is the footsteps is one of the best, most tense scenes I've ever seen in a movie ever!

The Coen Brothers are those sorts of filmmakers who will make you feel bad about what's happening while simultaneously making you want to see more.

Great performance for sure. I thought he carried what was otherwise a pretty dull, predictable movie. Even so, best ever is a lot. Darth Vader is pretty hard to beat. Or another guy who carried an otherwise meh film, Heath Ledger’s Joker.

I think it's one of the most overrated movies ever made. It's a never-ending cascade of dramatic cliches with cliched characters to match.
Dueling sets of errands cracked me up so much 😂😂 This is one of my favorite movies, I've seen it a million times & this is spot on 😂
I have lost track of how many times I have asked for an honest trailer for Daredevil Netflix series.

I love you, Screen Junkies... but that gas station coin flip scene is one of my absolute favorites. I could watch it a thousand times more and not get bored.
Still waiting for honest trailers Akira(anime). Man this is probably the most influential anime movie. Akira deserve honest trailer.

Read the book before the film was made. Thought Anton Chigurh was one of the best characters I had ever read. When I heard they were making the film, I was thinking - "hope whoever they get to do it does it justice"..... They'll never find anyone to play the Judge, though

One of the greatest movies ever made. I like a lot of the other movies the coen brothers have made, but this will likely be their jewel in the crown when all is said and done.

No. Not scary in the least. Everyone acts the Coens invented the "coin flip" in movies. It's the most overdone dramatic device known to man.
It's one of the best films I've ever watched. I rewatch once or twice a year the atmosphere and acting is just superb.
Thank you for rehiring this guy. He does the best voice and has the best humor.
When one of shopkeeper asking Anton "why you kill all old guys you encountered? You think this is a country not for oldmen?" It break my heart.
This is my favorite movie ever,so glad it finally got a Honest Trailer

Jaw dropping film. Absolutely adore it; easily my favourite individual film. Just phenomenal.

If the Oscars are either entertaining or boring enough, you should definitely do an Honest Trailer for this year's Golden Raspberry Awards when it comes out. It'll be much funnier than you'd expect it to be.

I loved the movie until the "major character death offscreen." I'm still not convinced it ever happened. At least you guys acknowledge it.

Anton Chigurgh is easily one of cinema's most unnerving villains. Even if he and Heath Ledger's Jokers are like opposites philosophy-wise.

Not only doesn't it have an ending, it has lots of 'after the fact' cuts. It was like watching one of Tarantinos films with the "missing reel" feature. I hated it, ultimately.
