    "When you take on the responsibility, great power will come." Uncle Ben is turning over in his grave right now. You can't just swap the order of a famous quote around and call it clever writing.

  • @theaikidoka

    @theaikidoka

    Ай бұрын

    Well, you CAN, if the point was supposed to be the reverse of the original. Ben's quote means "You get to be great, but that means you have to take care of others". MW's means "If you put up with this tedious stuff, you can have fun". They imply VERY different things about the character's moral alignment, and MW comes off worse for the comparison.

    This movie is supposed to be set in 2003, yet has the song Toxic by Britney Spears that wasn’t released until 2004, and has someone using a PSP that wasn't released until 2005. So not much 2003 in this supposedly set 2003 movie.

    Toxic Single was released in 2004, the album "In the Zone" WAS released in 2003. So they did get 1 thing right. It is impressive that they could not get the era right for only 20 years ago. Of the stuff that was not CGI in Oppenheimer, that is much older props that were found.
