"When you take on the responsibility, great power will come." Uncle Ben is turning over in his grave right now. You can't just swap the order of a famous quote around and call it clever writing.
@theaikidoka
Ай бұрын
Well, you CAN, if the point was supposed to be the reverse of the original. Ben's quote means "You get to be great, but that means you have to take care of others". MW's means "If you put up with this tedious stuff, you can have fun". They imply VERY different things about the character's moral alignment, and MW comes off worse for the comparison.

This movie is supposed to be set in 2003, yet has the song Toxic by Britney Spears that wasn’t released until 2004, and has someone using a PSP that wasn't released until 2005. So not much 2003 in this supposedly set 2003 movie.

Toxic Single was released in 2004, the album "In the Zone" WAS released in 2003. So they did get 1 thing right. It is impressive that they could not get the era right for only 20 years ago. Of the stuff that was not CGI in Oppenheimer, that is much older props that were found.

@@jasonculpepper5510he was where? And when?
Honestly shocked there wasn't a Kung Pow or The Room joke with all the dubbed lines and syncing issues.
I think we all owe an apology to Sam Raimi for Spiderman 3.

Not from me. I still blame him for what he did to poor Wanda.

4:25 Is there something wrong describing Sydney, Mr.EpicVoiceGuy?????? 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
This felt like the 8th most anticipated movie of 2004.

True. 😂 Btw, the best movies from 2004 were: Collateral, Spider Man 2 and Mean Girls.
I completely lost it at "Greatest nemesis....CANS!" hahahaha
Another hour and a half saved. Thank you HT!!! Cool Crown Vic at 3:33 though!
Loved the Parks and Rec reference..."Do you think a depressed person could make this?"
"Be normal.. be normal" I feel you on that with Sydney Sweeney 🙏🏽

She's one of those obvious "take the glasses off the nerdy girl and bam, hottest girl in school" trope.

4:24 The perv sounds he make after "be normal, be normal" is the funniest he ever made on this channel.
One of the funniest and most unrealistic things in this film is how quickly the kidnapping thing escalates Sidney's character shouts for help. 2 minutes later a whole bunch of cops show up. Another 2 minutes later there's already a news bulletin on the radio. A few hours later it's already front page news on a newspaper in New Jersey 😂

Sydney is a blonde white girl, so her case is unlikely to be ignored.
probably the truest and most honest trailer they've ever done and that's an impressive feat
I felt like I was being trolled by this movie. Every Dakota Johnson line reading was unintentionally laugh out loud funny. Best movie of the year!
"When you take on the responsibility, great power will come," I hope Ben hears Cassie say that and go, "Maybe it should be the other way around. That way it would make sense."
"He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died." This line of unapologetic exposition from the trailer really set the tone for the whole movie

Seriously Sony this is the end of Morbius again where the Vulture just bursts out with the weirdest sentences. You can’t write dialogue that’s natural?
3:05 you didn't follow that with Green Goblin singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider".
The fact that most of the plot has been changed, and the ADR shows that. And the fact that Dacota was sooo uninterested in the press tour, she was just short of saying "Don't go see the movie, guys"
"Hack the planet!" That's a deep cut right there.
