Interesting moment, but the pro alien slant felt a little forced. They were going for "look how hateful and intolerant humanity is", but then contrasted with how the Skrulls were perfectly willing to nuke us into oblivion, the xenophobia is more then understandable. I'd have prefered for the ending to be a bit more balanced, with the uncertainty and paranoia extending into the next project (but given how disconnected all the current MCU stuff feels from each other, thats highly unlikely).

This is exactly why we need a strong writer's room. The one primary guy seems like he's done good things in the past, but everyone else seems like they lacked the experience for something that would requires a lot of depth to be done well. I think they were out of their depth.

One quibble re Foundation - there have been some scenes on a total water planet that seemed very unrealistic (no wind, etc) and like it was two people on a soundstage. Regardless though, it is still gorgeous like everything else is. I’d be willing to bet Foundation’s relative budget efficiency is due to more planning and devoting the time to making CGI stuff look nice, with less changing things around in the 12th hour like Marvel Studios is apparently prone to do.

One thing I really disliked about Secret Invasion, was that the bad guy's plan was a crap plan. He kept trying to start wars in an effort to destroy humanity. World War 1 lasted for years and ended up killing about 2% of the world population, World War 2 again lasted for years, and saw large leaps in war technology and killed about 3% of the world population. So, even if the Skrulls some how were successful in starting another World War, it would likely not wipe out the whole of humanity. Plus, it wouldn't take much to have Fury or someone else tell the world and show them proof of Skrulls. Then there are blood tests or whatever at every government installation. Starting a nuke war is really difficult, because NO human wants that. They have space ships, just leave Earth. Fury didn't know about the million Skrulls that came to Earth. How did they get there? Why didn't they just leave? Why did the Asgardians get a chunk of Norway and the Skrulls got nothing? Also, the two people with every power ever, wasn't exciting it was boring. This is another example of people taking the name and premise of a well known comic event and doing a quick adaptation. In the comic it was this sweeping thing that shook the superhuman community. The story involved the Avengers, Fantastic Four, lots of heroes. This show had War Machine, minus the suit and Nick Fury. NO other hero even gets a cameo.

WandaVision: Wanda does a terrible thing and yet Monica says "They'll never understand what you sacrificed" so i kinda hate them both now Loki: Loki sucks and constantly gets his butt whipped and lady Loki is amazing at everything! Hawkeye: Eh let's replace Clint with a lady! Hey at least she had some struggle and isn't perfect so this is probably my favorite of the bunch Falcon and Winter Soldier: Trashing on Steve saying he doesn't understand what he thrust upon his friend before making up a bunch of biases that don't even make sense (who calls him Black Falcon?) Because hey it's easy to Teflon yourself from criticism if you say some racists are bad stuff and act like that's bold. Who cares how clunkily it's shoehorned in? She-Hulk: Jen you don't understand being a Hulk. Yes i do im a woman and we deal with so much more. You and your universe saving antics can't understand the struggle of dating in your 30s and btw you're totally right because i lose my temper and suffer consequences until i break the universe and decide to use that godly power to only help myself and not just rewrite people so they don't have to go to jail. Secret Invasion: Nick Fury always sucked and here's yet ANOTHER lady replacement to take up a popular position cause apparently we have no faith in any woman to be her own thing. Screw it you're female Fury and female Talos and they both sucked. What have we accomplished? Well i guess we made things more diverse while shitting all over the original people for the most part. We also broke the universe telling you that nothing was really heroic cause it was all Kang or a Skrull or a Black widow or a member of the ten rings controlling things all along.

The action scenes were just so bland, and then I watched the outstanding fight choreography in CA2: WS. Not to defend this show too much because it doesn't deserve it but they Idea that Avengers DNA erases the plot of phase 1/super soldier serum isn't true. The idea was the technology infuses avengers DNA with Skrull DNA specifically. Because they have the ability to absorb and transform it. That's why Gravik didn't care when he thought Nick Fury was in the machine with him. He knew it wouldn't work on humans.

They didn’t do it on the cheap from what I understand it was a team of animators did it. 4. You downplaying the ability of the ai art is also extremely outdated and you are missing the point. Yeah they had to program the computers to work the way they wanted to. So it's still man made, even if the heavy lifting is done by computers. Which is the whole point of advanced technology if you think about it.

Apparently I need to get into the zeitgeist of just shitting on everything Marvel. AI intro looked cool to me and made sense but guess I have to feel butthurt about it.

This isn't my least favorite Marvel series, but it's in the bottom tier. (I think She-Hulk is worse and I didn't care for What If) It started out promising but quickly lost its shine and didn't really do anything interesting.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that notices these guys are just shitting on the latest show or movie they're reviewing. When all you have is cynism towards anything you review, maybe it's time to retire and let someone new step up.

The problem with a lot of things now is that it's all phase woke industry-wide and it's at the detriment to the quality of the products and the services the consumers subscribe to. When they go into writing these movies and shows it seems like they go woke fascist left propaganda first and fit everything else around it when it comes to plot. I miss the pre-endgame era of the MCU, everything now is clearly pushing destructive agendas since the 2022 MCU stuff largely.

Isn't it time someone said that the real problem marvel has is that these man made heroes and stories are being turned to mindless " it's so meaningful" soap opera mush by women directors and writers who if honest would admit to hating everything that made marvel comics good. Seriously!!!!
