Wouldn't hate seeing Ana de Armas in a fun action lead role. I've liked her dramatic roles but she was very fun in this

It's never clearly stated on screen what the name of Judi Dench's M was, but there was a prop was made for Skyfall that stated that her name was Olivia Mansfield. I also remember reading somewhere that at one point Ian Fleming stated that the "M" codename was short for "Master", as in "Master of Her Majesty's Secret Service", in the same way the "Q" is short for "Quartermaster", however I have never been able to trace the original interview that this information came from.

Without milking them for spinoff shows, the actresses for Paloma and Nomi can reprise their roles (like M & Q) in future Bond films without acknowledging the events of NTTD. Just CIA/MI6 allies that occasionally show up (like Felix) and be themselves for a few scenes throughout the next 007 canon. That's how I see it

I would like to see a Moneypenny TV series a la Pennyworth with both Nomi and Paloma as supporting characters. Also, a Bond period piece has already been done, it's OSS117 with academy award winner Jean Dujardin, and it's incredibly funny.

@@randomhuman97 I wasn't listing them off completely. It's been about 6 years since I saw all of the pre-Craig Bond and I couldn't remember if the latter Connerys had Spectre too. They didn't stick in my memory at all, so in that sense, I guess I haven't seen it. Same goes for the Tim Dalton movies. Shoot, I watched the Living Daylights 6 months ago and couldn't tell you a single thing that happened.

  • @qwertyferix

We really needed more Felix. His death scene and the bit leading up to it in this movie was good, but the audience never saw a friendship between the two of them that would warrant Bond reacting so strongly. It seems like the movie was relying on people's feelings for Jeffrey Wright rather than his character.

My 2nd favourite of the Craig era after Casino, my only complaint being the sudden turn by the villain at the end. It was also a little let down by the films that came between since I often struggled to remember which were the returning characters and how they should fit into the story. Much more of a traditional Bond film & I liked that for the final instalment.

Am I the only one who did not like any of Daniel Craig Bond movies ? Bond used to be fun and silly family fare as shown in the gondola sequence. Emo Bond is boring dark and depressing as sh*t. Casino Royale : I will always prefer the original, David Niven is my favourite Bond. Skyfall is Home Alone, scottish castle edition. And this last one is just sad... and way way too long.
