All jokes aside, Roger Deakins did an incredible job with the cinematography. I mean look at it , every scene in the movie can be a decent wallpaper.

He has the full range of needed emotions for the deep parts he inhabits: from 1.... to 1 again. No. Seriously. I DO actually think he is a subtle and talented actor, and I have seen him step outside this range. He's just.... so damn good at not seeming to emote.

We kind of sort of have flying cars today. The problem with many of these movies they ignore the laws of physics, or at least our current understanding of them. It's difficult to get that amount of energy to move without rockets, jet engines, or propellers, all three of which require a sizeable engine and fuel. I can't see it happening by 2049.

There’s not a single android or robot in Blade Runner. Replicants are “bioengineered humans”. Genetically modified and lab grown humans. That’s why they can find Rachel’s skeleton. Why is that so hard to understand? It’s not like anyone read “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” to get confused by the movies changing that...

Technically a bioengineered lab grown human would be considered an android. Star Wars kind of co-opted the word "droid" (which is why Ridley Scott decided to call them replicants instead of androids like the original story), but the traditional definition of android is a robot or synthetic organism created to resemble a human.

It ok. Great movies don't need to be popular. Blade Runner already has a great fan base. I saw both the movie just 3 weeks ago for the first time and absolutely loved them. Blade Runner (1982) has become my favourite film ever. I saw it 4 times already (Different cuts) in two weeks. Btw there's a fan cut of the film called the white dragon cut. I highly recommend it to every Blade Runner fan.
