I would say they should explore more of the drone villains backstory and show that he has some reason maybe more flashback with maybe something like Iron Man 3 where Aquaman fights without Trident like Iron Man without his suit to show how really stronger Aquaman has gotten. He felt a little puny. Also more time for emotions rather than bigger canvas maybe a crisper story with tighter narration. Maybe like the drone guy finds out about Aquamans family and kills his mom and he doesnt feel he deserves the Trident so he throws it away along with drone fight sequences like 3 or 4 like the one in the middle of Aquaman. Have the story be more of revenge/bad ass Aquaman film where he goes rogue of everything to get the drone villain back and keep James Wan as director.

Sups entire race is gone, Batman practically became a vigilante because he lost his parents, spidey lost his parents n uncle Ben...and Tony...,Wolverine kill his own dad. Wonder woman has both parents in DCEU but Zeus is not seen and if he is seen, he's probably gonna bs an antagonist...see where am I coming from

Actually his powers aren't inconsistent, he's super strong etc compared to human standards. Anytime he's shown a weakness it was because atlantean tech like the chains holding him or the sword that black manta pierced him when previously black manta had failed with his original sword

Aquaman is probably the most underrated superhero in the world (followed closely by Hawkeye) but Jason Momoa is probably the best thing to happen to him.

I‘m honest: I didn‘t like that film. The story wasn‘t the best, at least a bit better than Justice League. Some CG scenes were really bad, I just sad there and:“eeeh, that‘s ugly“. There is one scene that stuck to my mind: Aquaman is standing in front of a lighthouse, you could clearly see that the lighthouse wasn‘t real. So that‘s my opinion. I like Marvel films more, mostly because of the story and the quality is often much better. Not all DC films are bad, I really like the Dark Knight trilogy. If you like Aquaman in general, the film could be fun.

I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. They did Aquaman justice and made him look so tough. And to be fair the reason why Black manta was able to Stab aquaman is because he was using an Atlantian knife. The earthly knives couldn't hurt him.

aohige there’s too much expectations for Batman and Superman due to previous great movies by Keaton and Reeves, that people tend to be close-minded if anyone were to take their story in another direction. While these guys just had a new movie and had learnt from recent dc movies about audiences’ expectations.

Ok so just slightly confused as to how no one realized the red-haired lady was ariel? Like seriously 1. Only has a father 2. Constantly opposes said father 3. Chooses to go off on her own on some adventure and finds a man that's a prince 4. Fights evil villain person 5. Lives kind of happily ever after
