I bought 1 from Walmart. Wasnt impressed. Part of the red plastic melted in the microwave. I threw it away. There's a guy on utube. Showing how to make popcorn in a sturdy microwave safe bowl and a paper plate. I know it sounds too good to b true. But I'm telling u it works. No burnt kernels and more importantly no melted mess. Thats my 2 cents, hope u find it helpful.

Oh, bummer! Was it the same brand? I've seen a couple that look like this one, but were knock offs. On a slightly different note, I just ordered a name-brand item from Walmart but what they sent was some cheap foreign made version that was garbage. I returned it immediately. mine got here today , i washed it , let it dry , and tried to pop a batch for 2:30 hardly any of it popped

Hi Carol! Thanks for watching the video and for the comment. I wonder if your results were due to the popcorn you were using? I have been using Orville Redenbacher original. It pops for about 3 minutes and there is very few kernels left un popped. Hope this helps! Thanks! 😀

Need to double the ammount of popcorn. That should be full to the top when done.

That's the nice thing about this popper; you can make a little or a lot! I've used it quite a bit since making this video and it has worked well with any amount. Don't forget the butter! :-)

I hope you washed the popper before using it. I didn't hear you mention it while reading instructions. I've been tempted to get one because sometimes you just want a small amount.

Thanks for watching and for the comment! This is a really good microwave popper. I've used it many times (always clean!) and the popcorn comes out great. I like that you can put the butter in the top and it melts over the popcorn while it's popping. I would also recommend getting this particular brand as it's been tested and reviewed. I've heard other, off brands, do not perform as well. Use the link in the description if you want to purchase. Thanks!

These do not work well at all...they don't pop nearly all the kernels as you see in this video. I've tried with more and less kernels, with/with out butter..just doesn't work. From reading on line the problem is they don't trap enough of the steam in the container and that steam heat really assists the popping. I'm going to see if I can find a lid that doesn't have holes and seal it a little and test with that. I'll make sure not to completely seal the glass container, don't need it blowing up lol.

Hi Chuck: Thanks for the view and comment. Do you have THIS particular brand of popper. There are several out there that look the same, but the quality is subpar. I use mine all the time and have had great results. Very, very few un-popped kernels. The type of popcorn you're using might also be a contributing factor. Thanks!

Thanks for watching the video. It was shot using my older IPhone and, I agree, the sound quality is not the best. However, I just viewed the video again and had no problem hearing it, even with the volume turned down. Perhaps it could be your device in which you’re watching. Regardless, I have a new phone now that takes better videos and there is nothing I can do about the sound quality of this one. Thanks.
