Just got mine. I’ve watched a bunch of videos on what to expect and timing. Other than your video every pizza has come out burned. No one seemed to rotate. Good of you to show that.

Great Job! You had that bottom crust perfect. I have been making pizza's and my own dough for over 40 years and I am interested in this oven as a play around oven until I get a big stationary one for outside. I heard they are now making a bigger version of this one. If you know anything about that, please let us know?
They came up with 752f because that is the conversion from 400c, which is what they are really basing the max temp at. It's always annoying to see numbers like that :-) Great video sir!!!

I just ordered this, u have there entry level one with the fire right underneath the stone, very hard to not burn and the top doesn't cook... I'm so excited..thx

nice. not sure how low/controllable the temp is but has anyone tried baking pies or breads or other things in there. at that price point, perhaps it pays for itself with just pizza but i'd be interested in how versatile they can be. i know the traeger website has desserts etc on it. i'm reluctant to buy a traeger figuring that it requires more parts especially when outside in winters etc. a weber gas and one of these might work for me.

To burnt for me. Can you adjust the heat from the gas? It doesn't seem to heat evenly - do the wood pellets make an even heat, or is it hotter in the back like the gas?

I have the 12”. Initially I just used wood pellets but that was too difficult to get and keep going so I bought the propane burner. That is okay but it gets real hot real fast and if there is strong wind it blows out when the front door is opened. Still working on controlling the temp. Also, mine is hard to get started because every time I release the clicker it shuts off. Have to hold in about 30 secs to 1 minute. Overall though I like the propane version.

Can the oven use charcoal? I was thinking use the charcoal to heat the oven, put some wood for flame before the cook.

@@geraldsahd3413 I don’t think it would work because the higher heat from flames is what heats it up to temp. I have never tried it so I could be wrong. The other problem is that the tiny little wood basket would maybe hold 2-4 briquettes at best.

Hi. I have a pizzello oven and I’ve used it three times with the propane option. It collected lots of soot, so much that it flakes out and some fell on my pizza 😩. Does that happen with your oven? Is it normal?

is the heat adjustable? looks to char rather quickly...

I have the 12 inch. Made a bunch of solid Pizza's with very nice an undercarriage. The only Con's I noticed is that the flame doesn't spread across the stone like the Ooni Karu gas or Gozneys. Also, after owning this oven for 8 months, the heat shield and back metal of the oven is starting to deteriorate.

Nice pizza oven, love the dual fuel system. Have you tried cooking a pizza such as, Papa Murphys Pizza? Wonder how a thick crust would work. Thanks for the review!

Working with these I’ve learned to heat the oven up and then shut the gas off when you put the pie into the oven and use the door in front to keep the heat in so you don’t burn the top of the cheese before the pie is cooked, after the pie is cooked you put the gas back on to then get the cheese nice and melted. Took me about 2 burnt pies to get good at it and learn how to do it properly..😊
