The lyrics in Korean are totally different, so we consider them two different songs - same with Rose in Korean and English, two totally different lyrics and vibes.

For me, DO's álbum is definitely a travel album. I mean, u can heart it while u drive, ride, walk and It's great cause is a relaxing and feeling album, it really transmit the empathy ( thats why I really like to hear it during the sunsets). Well, Thank u, I've never expect this reaction and I know that if is there another reaction for D.O's songs is going to take a time, but I can wait, so I hope u can do it.

and yes!! "si fueras mía" means if you were mine. im hispanic and tbh his pronunciation is better than mine lmao. i love this song, its so comforting and there are no that much idols who sing in spanish (rn i can only think of got7's spanish version of lullaby, but im sure there are some more) so it was such a nice add to the minialbum!! which is great btw

@@francoisdaureville323 Actually, being Hispanic means that you speak Spanish. that does not directly mean that you are Spanish. In Latin America we speak Spanish because of the Spanish conquerors :p

yes you are right, si fueras mia means "if you were mine". i can speak Spanish (not a native speaker,though) and I can tell you, his pronunciations were absolutely perfect. if I didn't know he's Korean, i never would have guessed it's not sung by a non-native speaker. and I'm not the only one who thinks so. i've seen multiple videos of native spanish speakers who listened to the song and when they found out it's sung by a Korean person, they couldn't believe it. THAT's how good he was

D.O is something very special to me, I love everything about him, his voice, his songs,his personality, his acting, his visuals... In short, I love him.

SM has some of my favourite vocalists, Yesung and Onew but when D.O debuted I lost it. His voice is my absolute favourite in all of kpop. It's just so beautiful, yet powerful, so RnB, soul and agile, his runs and ad-libs, ugh. His album was different than what I wanted from him but he made me eat my words. May he sing for a very long time

There is a Korean version of this song in the same album. But I like this one better. Kyungsoo chose to sing the song in its original language (Spanish) cause it's beautiful and he's right!

he went absolutely nuts with his vocal runs in this song. he is, after all, the most agile vocalist in kpop. the king of vocal runs and r&b. this song is definitely latin pop but with tons of R&B influences in all the melodies and especially in the bridge part

It’s similar to Film:Kai, with a quick snippet from all the songs in a very cinematic way. Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Kyungsoo is one of those few vocalists who can make your heart flutter. / This album is something unique that Kyungsoo has put his soul into. He himself wrote the lyrics for the title song "Rose", and also took a direct part in writing each song. He learned to play guitar while still serving in the army, studied independently and played each of his songs from the album to record. He has recorded songs in several languages "Korean, English, Spanish" which not everyone does.

Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.

hes not really a vocal coach, more so a producer in SM who’s also a great singer and helps out here and there when it comes to style in singing. such as teaching trainees how to do vocal growls. winter and kyungsoo use a similar style which is why they’re called yoo youngjins trainees

BUT he is also a vocal teacher.. he is a special teacher because he himself choose who he wants to teach.. so far there's only 3 idol in SM that from the beginning taught by him.. which is Changmin TVXQ, D.O. EXO (Doh Kyungsoo), and Winter AESPA. That's why those 3 called as YYJ's DAUGHTER AND SONS. But the one who has a collab with YYJ is D.O. EXO on a song 'Tell Me What Is Love'..

@@kledi3817 well I'm a fan of exo only so i didn't know the details about changmin and winter.. but exo members and d.o. himself told us that only D.O. that got taught by YYJ from the beginning.. but as time goes by, Chen and Baekhyun also sometimes got taught by YYJ..
