You should definetly check more of bigbang.. before BTS, BigBang were considered the kings of kpop and the greatest of all time, if BTS never existed, im pretty sure BB would have been still the kings of kpop today (they are still considered the greatest kpop group by a LOT of koreans and general fans).. BIGBANG was a huge influence for BTS in the beginning, most of the members are fans of the group.

ig everyone's different, tbf this one is an easier listen than most songs that give me headache without any sense in their lyrics like aespa, got n some others. also stray kids n some others got some similar vibes w bigbang in their mv n other artist too, so i dont think music has drastically changed too. everyone got biased opinions n prejudice n i feel like once u know if its from a certain era, some automatically dislike but if its ur fav artist, u instantly like it even if its not that nice of a song. ofc music sound improves everyday but this era rly resonates w me

You really need to check out their full discography. From their earlier songs to their latest. This was a song directed at everyone who was outting them down due to Daesung being in a vehicle accident where the fdriver of the other car died Daesung did nothing wrong, but they vilified him Also GD was given a smoke once while out with friends but it was actually a marijuana smoke. And this hit the news too at same time. In Korea Tattoo's, drugs etc.....is very much a no, no and can do time for.....They have very conservative attitude to these things. And other labels and others were not opposed to bringing them down considering they were the best Kpop group for 10 years during this period...........This song was their thoughts and words on the subject and a hot out to their critics.

Not sure if you read comments but deffs appreciate your honesty in expressing your thoughts; ngl bigbang has always sounded ahead of their time though and many of their songs would pass as releases during fourth gen (minus the ones released before 2012) and I'd say it's part of a prejudice that you've developed knowing what era they're from. If it's not patreon requested you probably won't bother further checking them out despite them catering for a wide audience while covering all genres of music, but if you did, I reckon you'd resonate with the song "Loser" (it sounds like something that'd be released in present time and the lyrics are really deep). 99.99% of their music is based on the band's own experience, they always write it in a way in which they tell their story and let the listener interpret it however they wish; their writing ability was always something I respected since you'd see so little of it in kpop. Listening to their songs was always like reading their diary (also english translations never do their lyrics justice, there's soo much wordplay and hidden meanings that only native speakers would be able to point out - it's art)

I was really tired recently so happen to watch this. Maybe you had it the same with me. Im usually cool headed and yeah same here for this song im okay based on melody. I like bigbang. The strangest thing is if you read the lyrics when you are down. You feel like wanna cry because of their skill in writing in raw emotionsl. Its the feeling of real raw feelings. I felt it too somehow strangely. Simple words but structure so honestly and sadly for this one. The hopeless feel, it potrayed and managed to convey the message. Story telling. Great 👍 👌 wonderful artist. 👏
