This is so hard to watch of course. The dark room is were is mind was caged (depressing mode) releaving the darkest moment of his life. The shoulder moment, self harming suicide attempt etc but the scene where he's trying to get out and he couldn't. Remind me of the only time he couldn't perform and was stuck on the bathroom floor crying and couldn't make himself live the bathroom.....

BTS have been very honest with their struggle and often talk about mental health despite how sensitive it is in SK (since their debut year 2013), this time around Suga decided to be more transparent of his personal pain and laid it out for all to see as a part of his healing journey (my suspicion). Yes, he used to work as a food delivery guy and was hit by a car. It was raining at that time. He suffered alone even the members and company did not know about it, he worried the company might pull him out and not continue to pay for his education etc. Note, Suga is from a remote province, humble background, and become a trainee despite his parent disagreement. Bighit then found out and they decided to assure him that his education (college) and medical treatment will be covered. If you look at his past mixed tape there are a few signs where he implies he has been struggling with loneliness, anger, self resentment, and even suic^dal. He definitely has been through a lot. He said to RM in Suchwita that 2015/16 is a dark time for him and the band. Aside than Suga, RM too shares a lot of his personal struggles in his mixtape. I guess being the pillar of the team/company really takes a tool to both of them. Now Suga decided to forgive those who have wrong him. I believe the song is not aim to be a hit song but a vital piece for his AgusD trilogy, making it more meaningful as a fan.

HYBE really isn't afraid of touching sensitive topics in their songs, LESSERAFIM does the same thing with Yunjin specifically, NewJeans does it with their music videos, seventeen too with their b sides.. i wish other companies start doing the same, it brings realism and personality to the artist.

This is best watched (at the beginning -- or at the end but it's the back story of how he got the scar on the face, and the difficulties he underwent), Daechwita -- talking about the battle between himself, and Haegum -- ultimately killing the bad version of himself (the one with the scar), liberating himself from his own oppressions and being free and at peace right now. This AgustD trilogy is truly a piece of art and somehow Min Yoongi's autobiography.

this was the most painful kpop mv i saw :(

I see his crawling towards the light as the universal light you see when you die.. that passing into the light. All the struggles are driving him to that place. Yet he saves himself. He survives. He LIVES. This song...wow.

This is not just mere a story plot for an mv but all these painful events actually happened to yoongi in real life. my heart feels so heavy I can’t stop crying. I’m just glad yoongi is still with us today.

Suga said that we have to watch dechwita mv , then Haegum, then Amygadala, sequentially, because he explained in Amygadala mv how he got the scar on his face and that it was by himself and not from someone else, and how it began to disappear in Haegum until it disappeared completely, so there is no scar, no pain left, and this It means that Suga has overcome the pain he was going through now...💔

There are only very few songs which made me feel as emotional like this one. Just makes me teary .

I personally love this song too much. Even though its heartbreaking that Suga had to go through all this for decade....the meaning of the song, message Yoongi is trying to convey, the whole connection with his trilogy and the way his pain is being demonstrated visually in this song...its a masterpiece...and the melody with Sugas expressive vocals and rap is also perfect. im getting goosebumps every single time i listen to it and i must have listened to it 50 -70 times. Even then i get goosebumps/ chills...thats how effective this video and the song is.

Yoongi really opened up to us. This may be healing for him , to face his pain and trauma.. and for us, who are also going through the same thoughts... What really pained me about this song and MV, is finally knowing how he held all of this in. Not just while in pre debut, but through out his career. This are not really things you can just talk about in the open, not especially as an Idol who, aside from working hard , are always being hated on for no reason. Holding onto those pain, alone in your mind😭 .. knowing now that he was the one who inflicted that scar in order to cope with all the turmoil he must have been feeling, thus creating AGUST D, the one filled with anger, pain and malice 🥹 he was suffering and yet only tried to give us his best .. How must he have felt, after all his schedule and concerts, going back alone in his hotel room😭.. I'm glad he has his members with him ready to support and help him out. But after seeing this MV, I can never see that scar as anything but pain and proof of Yoongis strength and perseverance 🥹 thank u Yoongi for sharing us urself. you are strong . u deserve all the best .🥲🥲🥲🥲 #agustd #dday #amygdala

Yes, AGUST D is Yoongi in the past. He turned to AGUST D because of his depression, worries about trauma, about his parents etc. I think, MV shows that he called for help to the amygdala so that she would stop scrolling the same moments. But came to the rescue (and late) Yoongi from the past, who has not yet been injured. in dechita, yoongi killed another version of himself (created from aggression, pain, feelings), so he coped with his alter ego, you can call it a shadow (he has a song and a video shadow), his dark side
