I mean Pinocchio has always been a dark story. The original Pinocchio killed Jiminy cricket in the beginning and originally the story was going to end with the character left hung on a tree before it was continued to not be too dark for the children.

@@JordanGold5227I dont think anyone (not even the people behind the game) implied they werr trying or succeeded in making it superior. Even in the game they said Geppetto was inspired to make the main character because he was reading the story of Pinnochio. Also, more than half of the humans here wear masks and most of the rest are rather normal looking so I dont get where you got the "full of hot people" thing

My only complaints are unreadable animations in certain enemies and the lack of poise when pretty much every enemy gets it. Plus the almost inability to interrupt a charged attack from an enemy with a charged attack of your own regardless of weapon type. Feels like an enemy armed with nothing but a stick was able to ignore the hit from a sword as big as them and just smack you before you recover to use your parry(which feels like it takes an eternity)

I wonder how much of a difference playing on console makes, do any of them support FPS for this game above 60? Personally I think the fact that I was able to run it at a smooth 120hz helped a lot with those perfect parries.

@@InMaTeofDeath the number of frames for the parry window scales with what fps setting you're playing at. so the window is the same number of milliseconds no matter what your frame rate is. there was a bug on launch day that made the window larger if you played at 30 fps, but it's been patched.

@@malyman316 a couple of attacks have the lock on go above the camera rotation, meaning you cannot see the enemy at all. A bunch of attacks are lightning fast and cover wide ranges and have little indication of when they will go off(sometimes giving only 7. Frames for the player to react which basically makes you depend on guess work most of the time or on memorising every attack rather than being able to react to a tight timing), not to mention as I said before the Poise issue(I’m not the only one complaining search it up).

I’m also hoping the difficulty is actually very close to the soulsbornes. 1st playthrough was tough but rewarding, didn’t use any spectres; some YT vids definitely helped with spec strats. 2nd playthrough you become almost godly, and then playthrough 3 it kinda evens itself out again, but Spectres usually make the bosses on 2nd and 3rd a breeze.

@@rhyswhittington8759 For some context in case maybe it was just the build, I was using Motivity build that focused mostly on heavy atks to stun them which let's you get free heavy atk into fatal atk. The maxed out Puppet String Legion arm is also bonkers fun to get in close, dodge attack by launching high into the air, and potentially get a hit in the their back when coming down. NG+ even without certain amulets and P Organs is pretty generous with Ergo, so I was just pumping points into Motivity then Life/Stamina/Capacity (they say in playthrough 1, your Motivity/whatever you're running caps around lvl 40). Then you factor in some of the generically good P-Organ passives after which you start choosing stuff like extra stun when hitting opponent in back, and it all pairs really well with Spectre taking boss' aggro. Definitely not a clean sweep of the bosses by any means, but I was also drowning in Star Pieces by that point, so just pop 1/98 on a failure and try boss again. By playthrough 3 I had basically bought all the P-organ abilities I could ever need and all that was left was like the Gold Fruit tree stuff or reduced shop prices. I did mess up the cloud save trick to save a playthrough and got the bad ending on playthrough 1. Final optional boss was no joke on playthrough 2.

Did the whole game again and then some, but A lot of My 120 hours is me just enjoying the gameplay and trying to beat enemies in style. Breaking their weapons ect.

3:51 Isn't that more of doing a Monster Hunter? I mean sure the robot arm part is very Mega Man but beating up super tough giant monsters in a 3D action game and looting them for weapons and armor is more of a MonHun thing (Legends at least had the 3D action game and tough giant monsters parts far as I know and X7 was a 3D action game but we don't talk about X7).
